I happened to run across these cookies by accident, once I ate them, I looked them up on the internet and ordered them through Amazon, you can never just eat one. They are sooooooooooooooooooo good.

I had a recipe for a raw kale salad that used these cookies, raw kale, parmesan cheese, sliced pears and pepper. The only other ingredient was olive oil. What a fabulous taste/texture experience. The salty cheese with the crunchy, sweet crushed cookies and the sweet soft pears and the curly kale. Delicious!

Marques De Grinon Extra Virgin Olive Oil From Spain , 16.9-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

Just like many of the best Italian olive oils come from top wine producers, Marques De Grinon EVOO comes from one of Spain's greatest wineries, Marques De Grinon, known for it's exceptional Cabernets and Syrahs from its estate in Castilla-La Mancha. This olive oil is quite complex and rich, more buttery and less bitter than typical Tuscan oils, but every bit as fresh and flavorful. I would put it as a worthy alternative to the Tuscan oils, particularly for dipping in bread, where it's softness makes it especially delectable. It's too expensive to be used for everyday cooking, but it can be drizzled on steaks and chops at the end to add aromatic and flavor nuance to grilled meats and vegetables. Really, this is a world class oil.

For those of you wondering why the 2-pack is much cheaper per oz. than the 3-pack, here is a possible reason (yes, you guessed it): the back label reads "Harvest Fall 2008/Released Spring 2009/ Best Before End Of April 2011". That being clarified, it's still a great olive oil, its charming tomato aroma still full and unclouded. But Amazon is less than honest in not providing this information as of August 2011, an unacceptable omission hence 3/5 stars, in order to draw attention to this issue. Amazon does not provide the harvest/best before dates for 3-pack or other packs either.

This is the best rice vinegar. Locally we can only buy it in the little bottles. Buying this gallon, even with the pricey shipping, is cheaper than buying piecemeal. My husband and I first tasted this candy in Canada. We bought it from a gift shop in Butchart Gardens and made a mistake for not buying the bigger box. This stuff is electrifyingly good. I bought it to spread on bread, as a tapenade and it's delicious that way. But it is also fantastic when used as a sauce and mixed with pasta such as paparadelle.

Blackberry Extract- 4 oz.

Bounty of Flavor Gourmet Food Picnic Hamper Gift Basket

I was given the duty of picking a gift basket out for my sister-in-law, after looking at all the baskets on Amazon, I chose this one. At first I was looking for Prime shipping, then what each basket had.

I was nervous at first because I've seen other baskets before and they usually had real cheap items in them, but when my sister-in-law received it in 2 days, she loved the gift basket. She said all the food in the basket were 1st class, she was worried she would eat all the food before her husband got home from the Middle East next week.Great gift basket, will order again whenever I need a really nice gift.

The thing that had attracted me to this and that distinguished it from other baskets was the picnic hamper. The hamper, however, turned out to be flimsy and either badly designed or badly assembled. The simple act of opening the lid caused damage, because one handle obstructed the lid in back, such that lifting the lid gouged out some material. It's not like I had to lift hard either; the wood was simply weak enough to take damage instead of resisting the obstruction. The handles fit so tightly around the basket that it was a challenge to lift them into a carrying position. I tried to be very careful around the flimsy hinges with their flimsy mounting, but I managed to tear one off anyway, which damaged the wood behind it. Despite my attempt to be careful, the lid was almost useless before we got out the door with it. I had hoped to wind up with a reusable hamper (a "handy picnic basket for many years to come"), but we didn't get to use it even once.

My disappointment with the contents was that I could have done as well or better with a quick trip to the grocery store. For example, the "Camembert" was marked "cheese product" and didn't resemble the picture on the box. The crackers were just like those I can find on the shelf at Safeway. The sausage was acceptable, but again, I could have done as well at Safeway. There wasn't any "premium gourmet goodness" like the description says.

For the same money, or even less, I could have bought and stocked an actual picnic hamper with the same or better food.

My dietitian recommended this instead of mayonnaise on sandwiches. I was only allowed to use mustard on my sandwiches on my low calorie diet and I got sick of the taste regular of mustard pretty quick. This is not sharp like mustard its more creamy like mayo. It keeps a sandwich from tasting dry. I hate a dry sandwichs. Its not mayo but it is a reasonable facsimile.Amazon was the only place I found it but you have to buy six jars. So I did. Now I am sick of it too. The diet, not the mustard. I shared it with my relatives. If you need to cut calories and hate dry sandwiches ,give it a try.

... for those of us counting Weight Watcher points, it's a find. I've been using it on sandwiches and in coleslaw instead of mayonnaise and adding a dab of real Dijon to kick up the flavor. Zero calories, zero fat, zero carbs? I'm in.

I use this mustard a lot. I love the taste, the name says it all, mild and creamy not a strong taste. I like it on a variety of foods, for example: in devil eggs, on cheese and crackers, brats, and hot dogs. I have had a hard time finding it on grocery shelves lately and have requested that the stores I shop put it back on their shelves. I was so happy to find it on Amazon.

I have sampled many Dijon mustards, and I must say that this is, in my opinion, the very best tasting Dijon mustard available. While all mustards have a characteristic "heat" to them, many mustards rely solely on that heat to get them by. This mustard has a robust flavor, reflecting a combination of flavorful mustard seeds with a flavorful wine base. In essence, mustard, any mustard, is a combination of ground mustard seed and vinegar. Other spices may be added, and different vinegars may be used, but this mustard from Fallot has what I consider to be the optimal combination of the two main ingredients with no other non-mustard flavors to detract from the primary flavor profile, namely Dijon mustard. This mustard leans more towards the mild side of the heat spectrum, so those seeking a mustard burn on the palate will be disappointed. I have also sampled some of the other fallot mustards with the various additives (i.e. basil, raspberry, honey, etc.) and they are all nice, too, if a bit limited in their usefulness (raspberry Dijon only works with so many dishes). However, this mustard, the plain, original Fallot Dijon, can blend seamlessly into the background of so many dishes. For those of you who seek a proof of these claims, just put this mustard to the simplest and most telling moutarde test there is: vinaigrette. mix a spoonful of this Fallot Dijon with a few teaspoons of wine vinegar, some salt, pepper, and herbs (fresh thyme is always reliable), and about a 1/2 cup of olive oil and you will understand the sublime versatility of this excellent Dijon mustard!

I have ordered this mustard several times. It is pricey but worth it. It always arrives promptly and wrapped securely. This is a great mustard for sauces and salad dressings. I will order it again from this vendor. Their service is very, very good.

Rapunzel Pure Organic Whole Cane Sugar, 24-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

FYI, this is Rapadura sugar. The company seems to have minimized that in the new packaging (or removed it completely on the new bags!?) probably to get new customers to purchase it in stores, whom might have put it back not knowing what rapadura is.

Rapadura is a very historic whole food and completely unprocessed from cane-sugar. It is the best/healthiest form of sugar. Arguably, maybe raw honey is better. But if you need sugar, go with this stuff.

It is all I use now, for bread making to jam and everything in between. (And really raw honey) :)

We were turned on to this product by my husband's cousin and we just love it!!! It is a great substitute (1 to 1) for regular white sugar, although it does have a bit of a different taste...but nothing that is noticable in recipes. Funny how sugar is considered an anti-nutrient. Yet, if it's in it's whole form this is not the case! Whole sugar contains nutrients! How about that? Too bad we never hear about it. Sure organic sugar cane tastes way better in beverages. If you give it time, your taste will adjust. This is expensive, but considering what it is, you get what you pay for. I signed up for the Subscribe & Save through Amazon & have it delivered once a month. I use it to feed my water kefir & for whatever else I decide to replace my organic sugar cane with.

Tastes strongly of molasses. If you don't like molasses you have a problem! Molasses is a by product of the sugar cane refining process in-case you didn't know. So it makes sense that this tastes of molasses. Because it hasn't been removed from the cane. This is truly pure unrefined whole cane sugar. This is what sugar is supposed to taste like!

By the way, don't expect the same results as refined sugar. Besides the already mentioned taste difference, this will turn liquids a muddy/cloudy brownish color. Nothing to worry about but it might be off putting if you are not used to it.

I was very disappointed. I ordered this basket for my mother to be enjoyed on Mother's Day.

The Art of Appreciation Basket was delivered to the side door at my mother's home at 10pm in the evening --without a signature.required.

Three days later the Appreciation Basket was discovered with spoiled items to be thrown away.

More disappointing is that no one from Customer Service responded to my kind email requesting either a new basket or compensation for the perishables. That's not fair. Not Appreciated as well.

Academia Barilla Sardinia Pecorino Gran Cru - Various Sizes

I was very excited to find this product but once I received I was very disappointed by its taste. I believe it was exposed to too much heat as it was in FedEx hands for 3 days. The result is a very acidic and pungent taste that has nothing to do with Pecorino Sardo.

I just happened upon this product as I was looking for finishing sauces and balsamic vinegars. I put this in my cart and tried to find additional information/reviews on the Internet. I couldn't many reviews beyond the four on Amazon.com. I was ambivalent but decided to take a chance & purchase the 6 bottles. This sauce has met all of my expectations and has fully met the recommendations of the four reviewers who gave it five stars. It will be delicious on vegetables, pasta, seafood, potatoes, etc. This is a delicious sauce and I hope that unlike Trader Joe's, Amazon never discontinues the sale of this lemon dill mustard sauce. It is delicious and very versatile. I highly recommend the purchase of the "Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Dill Mustard Sauce Marinade." It is incredibly delicious.

Green Mountain "Nantucket Blend" K-Cups make a very good cup of coffee in my Keurig B-40 B40 Elite Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System. This is a very smooth tasting brew that my wife prefers over the Coffee People, Donut Shop K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] I generally drink in the morning.

These are good on both "Small" and "Large" cup settings as well.
