Its a simple formula, yeast+ sugar -> alcohol + co2
what you need:
1) juice with HIGH sugar content. the product recommends 20g per serving minimum (welches is perfect)
2) time
thats it!
Yeast is a living organism. The colder it is the slower it will make alcohol, so you really want to keep this around room temp and not let it get to hot or it will die off.
I like leaving it set for a week (makes it decently strong, still good taste). Thats the longest I've let it sit, although my current batch is going on two weeks because I didn't feel like drinking last weekend.

This is a great product if you may be looking for some nice fruity wine with no alcohol, or if you want to dump tons of sugar into the original grape juice and make a really strong bitter wine. But, if you want something in between, this product is not for you. I wanted a decent tasting wine that I could make without going to the store and had a decent amount of alcohol in it. Unfortunately, I could never really find the right balance for making the wine. Turns out it's much easier and just about as cost effective to get wine from a store. Go figure! Super cool product that makes ordinary ol' juice into sparkling alcoholic juice that actually tastes good! Do you have 2 to 14 days? Do you have a counter top or shelf? Do like to drink? Well then, this product is for you...... P.S. staring at the juice will not speed up the creation of alcohol.Bought this in hopes that it would actually work. It doesn't make the juice unbearable, but it makes it have a bad after taste. The first time I used it I had to get my appendix taken out a day or two later (probably just a coincidence), but both the first and second time it made me crap violently.
