Mushroom Pate with Marsala Wine (78g)

Mushroom Pate with Marsala WineAnother seller that does not list ingredients. What's worse, they are not listed even on Giovanni's own website. Here they are: lobster, pollock, palm oil, milk, pollock broth, flour, soybean oil, carrots, celery, dehydrated onions, salt, cognac, spices, parsley and other ingredients. As you can see, the product is not gluten-free and contains also milk and soy, in case you need to know.

Once I got over the feeling that I was opening and serving myself a jar of cat food, I was quite pleased by the taste and texture of this pate. It has a surprisingly subtle mix of flavors and strikes the right balance between the earthiness of the mushrooms, a smoky marsala wine, and the rich butteriness of a pate. I really enjoy the pate with Carr's Poppy And Sesame Crackers.

If you're going to serve this to guests, I'd recommend carefully spreading this on crackers or stirring it up in a serving dish ahead of time to avoid any can-shaped chunks from turning people off.

Lazzaroni Amaretti Cookies Snaps 7oz

Lazzaroni Amaretti Cookies Snaps 7ozI happened to run across these cookies by accident, once I ate them, I looked them up on the internet and ordered them through Amazon, you can never just eat one. They are sooooooooooooooooooo good.

I had a recipe for a raw kale salad that used these cookies, raw kale, parmesan cheese, sliced pears and pepper. The only other ingredient was olive oil. What a fabulous taste/texture experience. The salty cheese with the crunchy, sweet crushed cookies and the sweet soft pears and the curly kale. Delicious!

Walters Homemade Honey Macadamia Nougat, 2-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

Walters Homemade Honey Macadamia Nougat, 2-Ounce PackagesWhen you see that is filled with the finest quality ingredients you do not expect the second filling ingredient to be glucose syrup derived from corn . The Death match is High Fructose Corn syrup has taken its lumps in public, and companies are taking notice: Hunt's Ketchup and Pepsi, for example, have dropped the additive and are marketing the change, promoting "real sugar" or "no high-fructose corn syrup" on their packaging. I have paid $25 per pound including shipping . Taste is great , but Corn syrup is not on my list of finest quality ingredients . I know is not listed when you buy it , but you will see it on the label . I do not need it even for free .

This nougat is absolutely fabulous! Macadamia is to die for! I have only found one place that carries it locally so glad to see it here. Great story behind it as well; happy to pay the price it's worth it!

Bought this as office holiday presents, and it was very well received. This nougat is very fresh, soft, tasty. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Has a wonderful texture. I sent some to my mother in law and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends.

Product seemed bit stale.

Made me think of pressed divinity candy.

Thought the nuts would be chopped & spread through the candy better.

Dave's Gourmet Pasta Sauce, 25.5 Ounce

Dave's Gourmet Pasta Sauce, Wild Mushroom, 25.5 OunceThis is my new favorite pasta sauce. I got a sample at Costco one day and decided to buy some.

It's veggie and not oily at all. Very fresh tasting. Very full flavored so that you can eat it very plain. I love it best with the 5 cheese tortellini that they were giving out as samples. Just great!

Dave's Gourmet is known for its punchy hot sauces, but its pasta sauces are underrated... especially this one. Made in San Francisco from butternut squash harvested in Oregon's Willamette Valley, it's at once savory and sweet. It has such a filling flavor that even Parmesan cheese is beside the point. It's a great topping for gnocchi, pasta, etc. It's a wonderfully autumnal sauce. Bon appetit!

If you are looking for a change of pace from regular tomato based sauce, you will be pleasantly surprised. I purchased this at Costco, I am not sure of any other stores that sell this. It is amazing. Very fresh tasting. A little, but not too, sweet. I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially for a gluten free offering.

I have never written a review before...that's how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sauce! I have never liked red tomato sauces of any kind and I've tried many. I usually make a white alfredo sauce for my pasta which is not exactly low fat and not the best choice for my slim down program. I was excited to find and try this sauce because I really like the taste of butternut squash. I didn't tell my husband what is was before he ate it because he's not a vegetable kind of guy and hesitates to try anything new. After I knew he liked it I told him. This is a great way to eat healthy (only 4 grams of fat per serving) and sooooooo tasty with just the right amount of sweetnesss. Amazon also has the best price on this sauce. Don't hesitate to try it...you won't be sorry. It's really a treat for me when I find a new food product I like. It's even more of a treat to find out it has good quality ingredients so it's good for us too!

I purchased this on a whim after eating a butternut squash pasta dish at a very nice restaurant. I am VERY leery of canned/jarred pasta sauce and almost always prefer to just make my own from scratch. However, this sauce is just divine! It has a very robust taste and is pleasantly sweet. I paired it with cheese ravioli and it was just perfect. I think that it would be great with just about any pasta. It is a pleasant change from a tomato based sauce and is very satisfying. I highly recommend!
