Denhay Farmhouse Cheddar sets the standard of perfection by which all other cheddars should be judged. Divinity itself. If you live in the States like I do, and you consider yourself a cheddar fan, you owe it to yourself to find this cheese and try it. It won't be in the same spot in the supermarket with all the plain American cheddar-type cheeses. You will find it near the deli/gourmet section. The first time I tried it, it was like I set foot into a new world for the first time. I never knew how good a cheese could be until I tried this cheddar. I wasn't expecting any kind of holy revelation, especially because in this country, cheddar tends to be regarded as a boring, bland cheese. But this is REAL cheddar, and what a huge differece that makes! You can tell that someone has put their heart and soul into the creation of this cheese. If any one cheese could be chosen to represent Earth in an intergalactic cheese expo, it should be this one.
