I've used it for a lot of Mead. I like that you can leave your wine on the lees for a longer period of time with D47 and not worry about off flavors. With nutrients and aerating, I've taken this yeast up to 16% alcohol. I think it's great.I used this to make a apple ciser it took it over night to start bubbling away and went strong for about three weeks.
