The final product is a very good, dry Chardonnay. I added an ounce of American oak cubes to the secondary fermenter. Only about 2 weeks on the oak is enough for this wine. Waiting 6 months to drink it is really beneficial.WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE KITS TO ANYONE.ITS ALOT OF WORK,BUT VERY REWARDING!!!MAKE YOUR OWN GOOD QUALITY WINE FOR LESS THAN 3 BUCKS A BOTTLE.THANKX AGAIN AMAZON FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE AND WONDERFUL ONLINE STORE..

I have made over 50 kit wines the past 6 years, mostly WineExpert kits bought locally. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. At 60% the cost of other white wine kits I've made, trying one of these kits was an easy choice for me. Add that these kits come with 30 corks, 30 labels, and 30 shrink-wrap bottle top covers, it's a no brainer. This kit is currently completing secondary fermentation in the carboy and I have not yet tasted it. I am bottling a different Chateau Classico red and am convinced it is as good as any other red kit wine I've made. This dry white Chard should be on par with other kit wines as well. Can't beat the price . . .Read Best Reviews of Chateau Classico 6 Week Wine Kit, Australian Chardonnay, 40-Pound Box Here
