Herring is herring and I expected it to be soft as it was. The real winner was the wine sauce and crisp onion. Placing it on a thin slice of Pumpernickel so the juices soaked in did much to place me in heaven and seeking more. I ate two cans at one setting before I could contain myself the first time. Note to self: Buy enough to satisfy these gluttony urges founded in gastronomic pleasures so you can save some for later. IT WAS SO GOOD, I BOUGHT A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION.
