This stuff is so good, I miss being able to just go over to the store and buying it, but they don't seem to sell it on the east coast except online. Great for sandwiches, and on crackers, or just eat it by itself. It is perfect for any occasion.

This is the best salame. I look forward to our trip to California every year for the fun and I know that there is always a log of this stuff at everyone of our family members house. Having travelled extensively in Italy, I had huge hopes for Columbus's Salame Secchi (Authentic Italian Recipe).Horribly overpriced, the many tiny rolls arrived at my house somewhat "mushy." It was excessively greasy with little or no taste. The casing (as mentioned in many reviews above) stuck to the actual product and was difficult to get off. I hung the rolls up in my kitchen to dry out and my cats weren't even interested enough to take a bite.
I served it at my daughter's catered graduation party with some inexpensive grocery store salami and guess which one disappeared while the Columbus Salame was barely touched. After the party, I did a taste comparison and the grocery store brand was "head and shoulders' above the Columbus product.
I don't understand how this company can stay in business. The product is horrible tasting and horribly priced. Even if it was cheaper than the grocery store brand, I would not buy it again.
I have to believe company representatives write the favorable reviews above.
