Australian Cabernet Sauvignon (Selection International)

For many years Cabernet Sauvignon has been an extremely popular wine. The Selection International wine kit from Winexpert produces an extremely worthy rendition of this wine. This is no surprise. Having made at least 40 batches of wine from kits over the past six years or so I have never been disappointed with those I have made from the Selection International series. The Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception. It's an extremely smooth and mellow wine with an excellent bouquet and a great deal of complexity.

Moreover, like all the wines in the Selection International series, it's easy to make. The five-step process (which takes six to eight weeks from the initial mixing to bottling) is straightforward and takes about four hours' time altogether. (This includes the sanitizing of the equipment and cleanup.) Plus, Selection International wine kits include easy to affix (and remove) labels. If you follow the easy-to-understand directions, you'll almost certainly be successful in producing a wine that you'll be proud to serve or give as a gift.

Simply Zinful Garlic Salsa by Gil's Gourmet (16 ounce)

I do not like the taste of this salsa. While its definatley edible and I will probably eat a little more of it, the garlic is way overpowering and the salsa just lacks quality. I am dissappointed. The seller shipped the item fast though, and packaging was top notch. I may try to order something else.

Beemster Vlaskaas Cheese - Sold by the Pound

For those of us who are Lactose-Intolerant, cheese might seem an impossible thought. But Beemster cheeses are all VERY lactose-free, although they ARE made with actual milk (I am VERY lactose-intolerant, and have never had a problem with any of them, but milk allergics MIGHT have an issue.)

But more importantly, the Vlaskaas variety is the closest thing I have been able to find to the yellow American cheese that so many people here in the USA have grown up with-AND... IT'S DELICIOUS! The cheese IS a bit drier than most American cheeses, and can dry out quickly if not eaten for a few days, but it has the same wonderful taste that I have missed for so long. I have not yet tried making Mac & Cheese with it, but I have tried making grilled cheese-the taste there was not the same, but the cheese did melt normally on the grill and it still tasted pretty good. Also, I use some grated Beemster Farmer's Cheese variety on homemade pizzas to give them the extra flavor and color that I'm used to (when making homemade pizzas, I use primarily shredded Cablanca white goat cheese, which is the closest I have been able to find to Mozarella, and top it off with a thin layer of Beemster Farmer's Cheese).

This is a delightfully delicious gourmet cheese that is well worth the order, even if you are NOT lactose-intolerant.

I bought the Truffle & Barolo Delicacy in Nigeria of all places. I purchased 1 bottle and the next day went back and bought all 12 bottles in the store. The flavor is outstanding, you can taste the Truffle and a hint of the Barolo wine, which is not heavy but a delicate addition. This goes well on roasted veggies, salads, I use it on fruit and proscuitto. I even used it on a leg of lamb. If you try this, I am confident that you will enjoy it as much as my family and friends do.

Columbus Salame Company Pepper Salame 10 Ounce Stick

I was introduced to this wonderful salame at a grocery in Dominica an island nation between Martinique and Guadeloupe. The salame was first sliced not too thin, but not too thick and topped small pizzas that I made from scratch and cooked over wood coals. Not only does this salame possess its own wonderful, unctuous warmth, but it stands up well to high heat much better than many pepperoni. It has become my new "standard" pizza topper.

Like the title says, nothing wrong with the taste, but quality of meat is poor. I can understand a little bit of gristle/bone slipping thru, but every second slice had it.

This is so good! Rich and peppery great with a club, or butter cracker. You don't need cheese this salami is very rich on its own. I could only eat a few bites at a time .....I will definitely get this again!
