Great product Sugar Free just as good as regular.

However, Wal Mart sells for $1.88 per 10-count box, so that is about 20% cheaper than current Amazon price.

Alpine Sugar Free Spiced Cider mix is a very good tasting hot drink mix that is perfect for those looking to cut calories and carbs. I am a Type 2 diabetic and am always happy when something tastes just as good as the regular version (my wife likes Alpine Spiced Cider Original Apple Flavor Drink Mix, 10-Count Packets, 0.74-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)). These only have 15 calories and 4 carbs per packet!

I find that it mixes much better when you add hot water to it, instead of adding the packet into a cup of hot water.

I just love this stuff. After drinking coffee all morning at work on a cold winter day, I'll switch to this sugar-free version of the spiced cider and find it so calming. You can find it at some retail stores, but the price on Amazon is comparable, plus I usually order enough to receive free shipping. The only thing I would say is to use a bigger mug than the 6-8 ounces they recommend. I just want a hint of the apple cider, not this strong overwhelming dose of it, but again, personal preference.

Husband and I love this drink mix, can be prepared in less than 2 minutes. Especially nice on cold nights.

Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard with Burgundy Wine (7 ounce)

This is the exact same mustard as I purchased in Dijon last Sept. It is deliciously tangy! Unfortunately, also not available anywhere nearby.

I am a mustard fanatic. If there is a better mustard than this, I have yet to taste it. Perfect amount of heat and tang.

Beemster Vlaskaas Cheese - Sold by the Pound

For those of us who are Lactose-Intolerant, cheese might seem an impossible thought. But Beemster cheeses are all VERY lactose-free, although they ARE made with actual milk (I am VERY lactose-intolerant, and have never had a problem with any of them, but milk allergics MIGHT have an issue.)

But more importantly, the Vlaskaas variety is the closest thing I have been able to find to the yellow American cheese that so many people here in the USA have grown up with-AND... IT'S DELICIOUS! The cheese IS a bit drier than most American cheeses, and can dry out quickly if not eaten for a few days, but it has the same wonderful taste that I have missed for so long. I have not yet tried making Mac & Cheese with it, but I have tried making grilled cheese-the taste there was not the same, but the cheese did melt normally on the grill and it still tasted pretty good. Also, I use some grated Beemster Farmer's Cheese variety on homemade pizzas to give them the extra flavor and color that I'm used to (when making homemade pizzas, I use primarily shredded Cablanca white goat cheese, which is the closest I have been able to find to Mozarella, and top it off with a thin layer of Beemster Farmer's Cheese).

This is a delightfully delicious gourmet cheese that is well worth the order, even if you are NOT lactose-intolerant.

I've been making my own sauce for over twenty years but sometimes I need to make things happen quickly in the kitchen. I found this sauce at a local TJMaxx and after reading the ingredients and seeing how "homemade" it looked in the jar I decided to give this brand a try.

I have to say as far as jarred sauce goes, Mia's did not disappoint. Perfect thickness not too thin/runny and not too thick and paste like. Excellent balance of fresh tomato flavor, acidity and sweetness.

I thought the basil note could be a little stronger so I added a little chopped fresh to the plate.

This sauce is very good on its own or could be a quick start to a bolognese if you add meat; would be a terrific addition to a lasagne, baked ziti or pretty much any pasta dish that begins or ends with a red sauce.
