More Than Gourmet White Wine Foundation Sauce, Classic Veloute, 11-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

More Than Gourmet White Wine Foundation Sauce, Classic Veloute, 11-Ounce PackagesWhat a gorgeous and delicious sauce that also doesn't have too many calories for its type (180 for the whole container). Bought it on a whim yesterday to go with pan sauteed chicken breasts. Wow was it delicious!!

I pan seared the chicken in a little olive oil, deglazed with dry white wine, then added the Veloute sauce and simmered. I really couldn't believe how delicious it made my simple dish. Just bought a six pack of this stuff and will use in a pinch for company and when I just want to eat delicious chicken with my family. My husband couldn't believe how good it was. Adding mushrooms would send this over the top. It took me 15 minutes to do!

Real ingredients with a reasonable amount of sodium, but most important is the taste. The taste is excellent. I take this sauce base and add some pan drippings and I have a tasty wine sauce that used to take 30 minutes or more to make. This product has made my cooking and my life easier.

This is an amazing little product. It's great alone on meats and veggies, or with added tarragon or other herbs.

It is especially lovely to have on hand as a staple when one has no time to make a veloute from scratch...like after working all day. Equally terrific is the red wine sauce.

I truly consider these sauces as my favorite culinary "find" of the year.

Please don't stop making them! It would be a bit easier, if I could find them at Kroger, though the six-pack was very cost effective...usually the shipping costs make them a tad expensive. still, worth it.

More Than Gourmet's White Sauce is a superbly convenient base for a variety of sauces and works perfectly for those who don't want to make it from scratch. I'd tried making White Sauce from scratch a few times but wasn't thrilled with the results. That certainly wasn't the case with More Than Gourmet's White Sauce, which I discovered quite accidentally while shopping at a local farmer's market. I've used their More Than Gourmet Classic French Demi-Glace, 1.5-Ounces (Pack of 6) for many years now and was going to make a fish dish that week so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try. The results quite honestly were stellar and opened new doors for me to use their White Sauce in ways I hadn't anticipated. Most people will be inclined to think of White Sauce as limited to fish, chicken, and pork, but you'd be mistaken. Their website () lists some terrific recipes including one for Salisbury Steak, which, when you smell the White Sauce will be an obvious match! The consistency is nice and thick as it should be for a base and you can certainly cut it by adding more wine or broth to make it less consistent and runnier. Velouté is the base for Sauce Allemande and certainly also Bontemps Sauce, Morel Sauce, and Garlic Sauce, but you can certainly toy with it by combining various herbs and other items to create your own sauce. I kept my fish dish simple by only adding dill weed to the sauce so as not to overpower the cod I was baking. The options are truly limitless and I can't wait to try out using it instead of my own tried-and-true Salisbury Steak recipe! Bon apetite!

My 13 y.o. Grandson adores this product the most of all of us. We found it in a large health food store a distance away so I was delighted to find I could get a quantity of it right here on Amazon. It is a delightful light and tasty step up from gravy. Must be heated in a pan but worth it. For a quickie supper we like to do chicken breasts on the grill with rice pilaf on the side and a veggie and this pulls it together hugely better than jarred gravy.

Cookies & Corks Sparkling Wine Pairing, 7.87-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3)

Cookies & Corks Sparkling Wine Pairing, 7.87-Ounce BoxesI am glad to see these on amazon. I've given these as gifts with a bottle of wine, tried them at parties,; love them. So often you open a box of gourmet cookies and think, I could have made them better myself--not so with these: the flavors have been tweaked to match the wines and the taste is out of this world!

I ordered these cookies to serve specifically at a book and wine club meeting, they were a HUGE hit! The flavors are creative and were alot of fun to pair with diffrent wines! I will definelty re-order!

Loved the idea of pairing cookies with wine as soon as I saw this new concept and line of products from Cookies and Corks. I am not a sweets fan at all, but the Sea Salt Chocolate Oatmeal cookies are the best cookie I have ever eaten! The crispy cookie with just a hint of sea salt is amazing. Pair them with a little bubbly and you have a party! The Zesty Lemon is my husbands favorite, and the Parmesan Thyme are perfectly savory. Lucky for me that they don't sell them in bulk or I'd weigh 400lbs! A great new product...try some! And too bad Oprah's going off the air this year, I can see her choosing this as one of her Favorite Things!

Frescobaldi Laudemio First Pressing 2012 Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 8.45oz

Frescobaldi Laudemio First Pressing 2012 Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 8.45ozBeen using olive oil in the shower for years now. That and an antibacterial Himalayan salt bar. So far this one seems to produce the best results. It absorbs easily and help diminish scars. I will have to say this one is a bit pricey! I expected it to be the larger size.

White Truffle Sea Salt

White Truffle Sea SaltGreat balance in this truffle salt. Not under truffled, not over. Brilliant on the morning eggs, or popcorn, or even wings. I now buy it every few months.

Great for Popcorn, buts it's very useful for cooking and baking. If you try it you'll get hooked. It's much better then regular table salt and its at a very reasonable price.

This is my first try with a specialty salt and I will definitely keep this as a basic with my spices. I loved this salt. We have used it on lots of dishes: eggs, soup, salads and meat and fish dishes. It enhances flavor without overpowering the dish. My husband cooks also, so, since it's new to us, we keep the truffle salt near the stove so we can experiment. I would love to get other cooks' recipes that make special use of this salt.

I love truffle salt. This particular brand is as delicious as any other. However, to pretend that ANYTHING these days, let alone a tiny 2 oz. jar costs ten dollars to ship domestically is simply extortion. Price the item honestly. Don't hide the ACTUAL price in your inflated shipping costs.

I love this truffle salt! It is great on just about everything including veggies, cheese, meat, etc. The container is much easier to use than some of the others as it is a flip top and frees your other hand while you are cooking...you won't be sorry you tried it!

Cornucopia Fruit Wine Making Kit, White Tropical Riesling, 17.5-Pound Box

Cornucopia Fruit Wine Making Kit, White Tropical Riesling, 17.5-Pound BoxI took a chance; it was the first time I tried a kit wine ( I make mine from fuit etc.). This wine is sooo good my wife and I were constantly testing it before it was finished clarifing. It makes 6 gallons but after all the tasting we only were able to bottle about 4 gallons. This is great fruity tasting and refreshing wine. If you don't want your kit I'll buy it from you. Our stock is running low.

We prefer a sweeter dessert type wine and all the Cornucopia kits we have done (and we have made several) have proven to be to our liking. Sweet wines with very good flavors. We also enjoy the lower alcohol content these kits tend to have and that they don't over power the flavor. If you like a bit more alcohol, it's easy to boost that with a little corn sugar when you start.

Having done a number of kits now, it's hard to beat the price on the Cornucopia kits. Other kits don't include corks, labels and foil wraps and are more expensive. Another bonus for us has been time. The Cornucopia kits are done and ready to bottle well within the 4 week time while "other brand" kits have run longer than the 4 weeks to bottling.

I usually purchase wine kits from the local winery but thought I'd take a chance considering the price difference and boy was I glad I did. The wine is absolutely delicious... I have been making lots of different varieties for my upcoming wedding and will have to buy more of this as it will not make it till the wedding. I am subscribing for sure!!!! The labels are great and you just can't go wrong with the price. I am about to bottle the Moscato and have the Strawberry White Merlot in fermenting right now... Give it a try you will not be disappointed!!!

This is my second Riesling kit. As with the first, it is very sweet with a mild alcohol content. This is the first tropical fruit kit, the other being just a fruit kit, but just as tasty. You even get labels for the bottles. There is also the corks for the bottles. If you have never made wine before, beware, this kit is for the wine only. You will need the things for fermenting. Carboy, hydrometer, fermenting bucket, corker, bottles.... etc

I bought this kit and am very pleased with the results.

It fermented out to try rather quickly and after adding the F-Pack and finishing the process it turned out really nice and refreshing. It is a rather sweet wine with very fruity notes.

Great Value!!!
