Olli Napoli Salami, 6 Ounce

We purchased both the Napoli and the spicy salami and both were tasted great and you could tell it was high quality meat used to produce. We liked the natural casing that just pealed off easily.

I love all the Olli products, their salamis are so delicous and great quality. The price here on amazon is cheaper than Whole foods by a dollar. I will keep ordering very often.

I had ordered several Olli salamis and found two to be of great quality and just wonderful but two did not taste right like it's about to spoil though it was months at expiration date. I am hesitant to order more only due to not knowing if I'll get a good or a bad one.

I have ordered all the Olli salami varieties and find them good to excellent. But sometimes they arrive with the outer skin moist, yellowish, and smelly instead of dry and whitish.

I think this happens when moisture and heat are introduced over time by poor storage or poor shipping methods.

The first time it happened I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement which was perfect. I should note it shipped with a foil temperature resistant envelope and a cold pack.

I hope they solve this issue because I want to keep ordering these very tasty salamis.

I should mention I ate the salami which arrived with the wet yellow stinky exterior, and it was good once I discarded the skin and wiped it off. No ill effects. :)

These are more like Fruit Gums (not sugar coated Fruit Pastilles) from England than Wine Gums. They are more chewy but I also find them more fruity tasting. They will stick to your teeth so if you want something softer rather buy Wine Gums which are also delicious.

I love British and Dutch winegums. These are not at all great despite their very cute shapes. Buy the Gustaf's (also from Amazon in kg size bags) instead for a much more authentic and flavorful European winegum collection -their black currant is delicious if that is your thing!

Not a very good product. Was expecting something like Maynards or Bassetts. These stuck to my teeth and very artificial in taste.

Sharp, Provolone Piccante Cheese (8oz or 1lb)

This Sharp Provolone cheese is soooooo good. I have always been partial to the provolone cheese when I buy it at the deli in the grocery store, but that is Mild Provolone. When I saw that 'For The Gourmet' had Sharp Provolone on their list of available purchases, I was intrigued. I tried it, and boy, am I glad I did. I think it is much better than Parmesan in the tangy-ness and strong-ness you can get from just about any cheese. I think I even like it better than an extra sharp, or seriously sharp cheddar cheese. Although, those are really good, too. It ads so much flavor and you don't have to use much of it. That is why I like Parmesan, but Pramesan is so much harder and dryer. This will melt much better. Don't hesitate to try it. It is really delicious.

This is an incredible business. Or at least Brian Cardinale, the Director of Sales and Customer Support, is incredible. I ordered a cheese that was not to my liking, I made comment of it, and quickly received a response from Mr. Cardinale with a wish to rectify the situation. Mr. Cardinale provided me with options and one of them was a replacement with a product that hadn't been introduced yet. After my agreeing to this replacement I quickly received the product and it was indeed what I was originally looking for. While I haven't tried many of the products from this company before, this experience will certainly have me returning to them in the future. Terrific customer service!

THIS provolone was supermarket cheese.i'm full blooded italian,and this was not even close to the provolone i was used to when i was younger.wish companys would stop claiming sharp !!!!!this cheese hardly has any bite to it at all !!!!!would feed it to the dog if i had one....very very very disapointed...

I've made a number of wine kits that produced some very good or excellent

wine. I usually add my own "touches."

This wine was not very good. It did not taste like a Pinot Grigio.

I will probably try another company or start with just the juice.

First one came out better than expected, reordered again. This is an easy way to make Good Wine at a reasonable price

We have been purchasing wine kits locally for several years and recently began purchasing from Amazon as our local source closed shop until we processed this kit we have never had a bad batch color was good, but there was a distinct odor and sharp taste to the finished product the batch was scrapped.

I finished this wine kit about 4 weeks ago and like all other paklab products this creates a solid house wine to have around. While I prefer their "Vino Italiano Moscato" kit-wine, this kit creates a very smooth, drinkable end result.

There is a step during the creation process of these kits that requires you to "top-up" your carboy. It's best to use the same kind of wine from a previous batch, however as this was the first time I made this wine the alternative was clean spring water. I felt that I might've watered down this wine too much during this phase. I have, however, used spring water at this point in several kits in the past and not had a watery taste at the beginning of one's sip.

The goal, then, is to make another Pinot Grigio kit and use wine from the previous batch to avoid adding unnecessary water. Of course by the time the second batch is made, rarely do I have excess wine to add to a kit. This is due to the fact that these Paklab kits are SO drinkable, their end product seems to disappear so quickly. The only reason I gave this wine a 3 instead of a 4 is because I prefer the Moscato from their Vino Italiano lines of kits, but that could be simply personal preference.

I will be bottling this wine next week. So far, so good, but I haven't gone wrong using these kits yet. However, just like so many others have recommended, make 5 gallons, not 6. Also, I rack it twice and add a wine smoother (I get it from American Brewmaster: [ ... ]) to it right before bottling. Yummy!

Partners Wisecrackers Low Fat Crackers, Roasted Garlic Rosemary, 4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

I have been buying these from my local grocery store for a while now and was VERY happy to see the Wisecrackers available on Amazon at about 40% below the grocery store prices (and with free delivery; they arrived well packed, in great, grocery store condition)! Cannot beat that! Aside from the price, why do I buy Wisecrackers:

1) TEXTURE and CRUNCH: They are much tougher then regular crackers. They hold MUCH better when you need them for a dip, or a base for a topping. They allow you to "feel" the crunch and take a loooong time before getting soggy when covered with a topping.

2) TASTE: They taste almost like bread crust, with ONLY 110 calories and 2g of fat for ten good sized crackers (each is about two inches by two inches).

REGARDING THE FLAVOUR: I like the sesame variety the most, for their neutral aftertaste. The Rosemary/Garlic variety is not as versitile; in fact, it is quite "herby" (I am not a big fan of rosemary, so this is subjective). You will have to choose the dips and the toppings carefully. However, they can also be eaten alone, as a light in-between-meal snack.

I had originally found these crackers at a friends house. She told me they could be purchased at Trader Joes. After paying way too much there, I found them on Amazon! I'm glad I did and I ordered the six-boxes. I go through these crackers so quickly since they are low-fat. I have purchased other food from Amazon and I expected these crackers to come all broken. I cracked open a box today to find them all intact!

Unfortunately so few of the crackers came intact for a true flavor test. I can say they made an excellent breading for fish?! I did get a replacement shipment of crackers and they were also crushed when they arrived.

Authentic Amora Dijon Mustard - Large Jar

If you go to the French version of Target (Auchan), this mustard is one of the cheaper brands and on the bottom shelf. My wife and I chose it because at the time we were in graduate school and money was tight. It was the best mustard I had ever had! Now, nearly 18 years later, we can afford whatever mustard we want and I have tried many kinds and brands of mustard. The one that is consistently still my favorite is Amora.

The vendor sent the product quickly enough and everything was fine.

Writing this review has me itching to go eat something I can justify dipping into the mustard. . .

A friend from Paris turned me on to this fine mustard. It's wonderful in many applications (like salad dressing,) but really shines with meats. It is smoother & has less bite than most DiJon mustards. To me, it allows the meat to shine through, which has made this my favorite! It is 10-times better than Grey Poupon in my humble opinion.
