Porto Wine Vinegar 6.8oz

Porto Wine Vinegar 6.8ozBought this at a boutique market in So Cal. I did so because the label said it was sweet. I don't know if it was on the shelf too long (as with alot of products in these boutiquey low volume markets), but it was soooo not even close to sweet, just pure tart vinegar. It went straight into the trash. I didn't see any expiration date jumping out at me. Would have been nice to see one prominently so I could have been warned.

The very best vinegar. Not to tart and it goes well on so much. Try it on cabbage or in a reduction!

Vino Italiano 4 Week Wine Kit, Pinot Bianco, 15.5-Pound Box

Vino Italiano 4 Week Wine Kit, Pinot Bianco, 15.5-Pound BoxThis wine kit is one of 5 Vino Italiano kits I've made. These cheaper kits give you a quick turnaround with a decent wine(a lighter variety than the better kits produce-a little less balanced). So far the whites have tasted better to me. The first 3 kits were made as to instructions, with the next 2 (Pinot Biano and Rosso Magnifico) I reduced the water added to make about 5.25 gals of of must and racked off into a 5 gal carboy. Don't know what to expect but will follow up this review. I did notice that the reduced water version takes much longer to degas.

This is about my 10th wine kit, and it went smoothly. This is a good value kit, not a top quality one. It hasn't aged yet, but is already quite good. In about 6 months or a year it will be a good table wine. It comes with everything you need except for the fermentation equipment.

I received the wine kit as normal. I have used at least 12 of these kits and had great success. The problem is, I will propably never know what an aged wine kit tastes like because we drink it faster than we can make it. Wine snobes need not purchase. Just buy your $20 a bottle trendy wines and that will make more wine kits available to those of us who drink wine for fun. I have not fermented the kit yet, but I indend on adding pears and golden raisins as suggested by another reviewer. Bottoms-up!

I really like all Vino Italiano products however, I recently purchased a white and red and I cannot start either of them. I have made wines from kits for over 10 years and know temperatures, shocking, and all kinds of tricks. What could possibly be wrong with these 2 kits I just purchased. I'm worried that it may happen again. I'm hoping someone will contact me so that the situation can be rectified. Check my record. I purchase lots of kits!

I haven't tasted the wine yet, but it is fermenting nicely. These kits from vino italiano are great for the price. I've made 3 so far and will continue to try others. I do recommend making 5 gallons instead of 6. I still have a few bottles left from a Merlot I made which turned out great! Its over a year old. I definitely recommend these kits!

Product arrived overnight, very well packed, no thawing and still completely frozen.

Quality was excellent.

These animals have been force fed by sticking metal tubes down their throats until their livers become 10 times their normal size. They frequently have gashes all over their beaks and throats. Disgusting and cruel. Do not buy this, please. These poor animals are tortured their whole life by being force fed through tubes for the sake of a "good meal"!
