Tupelo honey is so romantic. Remember Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi? I never liked Elvis, but the honey is absolutely "love me tender, love me sweet". Not too strong, not too dark, not like anything you've ever had. I love honey, everything BUT the "honey-flavored" packets some fast-food-joints pass out, trying to fool you. HUMPF! I will buy this again, though it only for special occasions, because it is sooooo expensive. (But starlit eyes are irresitible, and worth it!)

This is the best honey in the world. The taste is above anything you could buy at the grocery store. The buttery golden taste is wonderful with pears, cheese and crackers. It is a fast "throw together" platter when you have un-expected company that is sure to wow your guests.

I am a nut for honey of all flavors and buy it in my travels. The tupelo honey from Savannah Bee Company is sweet and light and absolutely fantastic. The bottle is beautiful and would make a great gift. I didn't have any problems with the cork lid. I did wait until all the honey settled back into the bottom of the bottle before putting the lid back on. As with any honey keep the top/lid area clean and you won't have any problems reopening.

Wood Lock Medicated Oil from Solstice Medicine Company

First, this product has multiple listings here on Amazon. I've posted this review for all the listings I know about, but as of the time of writing, but the main thing I'd say here is that there are BIG differences in price, and the individual listings do fluctuate over time. So it is worth taking the time to do your research.

Now the review...

This stuff is EXTREMELY effective for pain. I don't know whether it actually helps with the healing process as some have claimed, but it works wonders for short term relief. I have run it by my doctor, who carefully inspected the ingredients as listed on the label. He indicated that he was fine with me continuing to use it.

The only downside is that it has a rather potent and penetrating menthol smell. It's by no means unpleasant, but you may not want your hands smelling of the stuff all day. I notice another reviewer has left instructions for hand washing after, but personally I prefer to wear rubber gloves when applying it. I also find that it's worth applying the oil with vigorous and sustained massage into the area, just as some other reviewers have already said before me.

But the bottom line is, this is seriously effective stuff. It works.

I have purchased this product here in Tucson,Ariz. for years. I have to 3 different stores here in tucson & they all have said that this exact product is no longer available. I was so sorry because the product really really helped my arthritic joint pain.So when I saw it on amazon I was so pleased BUT when the product arrived I was so disappointed. IT IS NOT THE EXACT FORMULA ,not the same color ,not the same smell and it DOES NOT WORK!!!!! Did not meet expectations.

Have used woodlock oil for a number of years, was always VERY satisfied with product, now, since Amazon has become intermediary, the product seems diluted, not as dark as previously, and relief is not as great, making it necessary to use much more to achieve the same level of pain relief.

Brown Rice Syrup, 22 oz.

This syrup is fantastic in coffee, cookies, cake....basically anything. It has a slightly nutty flavor, but doesn't leave that gross aftertaste in your mouth. I also received it 10 days early. I am very pleased and will certainly be purchasing more.

I am trying to avoid sucrose and fructose in my diet. Maltose would make a good sweetener. This product gets me halfway there. Because of the maltodextrin, it does not have the sweetness of high maltose, also the product has its own intrinsic flavor, so you cannot use as a flavor neutral sweetener.

The only high maltose vendors I can find are located in China it would be good to have a US retailer
