These were terrific! We used them in making Poutine. They were very fresh and tasty and melted into the warm sauce over the french fries. I would definitely order them again!

Growbottle - Basil

Growbottle - BasilI was really excited when I first found this product. It seemed like a great idea and very easy to grow. Unfortunately this was not the case. I followed all of the directions exactly and while the seeds did sprout, that is all they did. After the sprouts were about 1/2" tall, they all died. How sad :(

I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone and she has informed me that the seeds have already sprouted and are doing great!

I got this for my mother for Christmas who is a vegetarian and nature lover. She loves the idea and the recycled bottle and it looks great even though there's no herbs growing yet

My family loves indoor gardens, and this one is really cool. I love that it's made out of a recycled wine bottle, and it's really easy to get set up. I just wish Amazon sold more than just the basil one they also have other herbs that we'd like!

Kristian Regale Sparkling Beverage, Apple, 25.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 4)

Kristian Regale Sparkling Beverage, Apple, 25.4-Ounce BottlesHere is the next in a series of Kristian Regále, look to the sidebar on the right to find the others.

Almost clear, it just has the tiniest yellow tint to it, lots of tiny bubbles adhere to the sides of the glass, and there is no foam on top. Pretty strong carbonation. It's definitely got a green apple taste to it, and is ever so slightly bitter due to the carbonation. I think it's sweeter than the peach, but it has a tangy, sour taste also. It's good, a little more acidic than most juices, just like all the other Kirstian Regále's we've tried. We had it with tilapia & pesto. It's actually a lot like a Green Apple Jolly Rancher, but not as sweet.

It paired very well with the food, which is always a good sign, and I think it pairs well with lots of lighter meals.

Did I like it: Yes, 7 out of 10.

Wine Lover's Chocolate 3-Tin Gift Set, Pair with Cabernet, Syrah, Zinfandel, 10.5-Ounce Gift Set

Wine Lover's Chocolate 3-Tin Gift Set, Pair with Cabernet, Syrah, Zinfandel, 10.5-Ounce Gift SetThis chocolate is mediocre. Mine has a greyish bloom on it that makes me suspect it's been sitting around in some warehouse at too cold a temperature. Aside from that, the flavor is blah, no interesting notes whatsoever. It doesn't add anything at all to the wine drinking experience. It doesn't melt well in your mouth, either; it leaves behind a greasy film. You're much better off buying some good quality chocolate bars with different percentages of cocoa from a brand that you trust, and trying them alongside your wine.
