I gave this as a gift for an 85 year old lady and she hasn't stopped talking about it! She loved the boxes (the pictures don't do it justice) and she said the treats were awesome.

Aspen Mulling Cider Spices, Cinnamon Orange, 5.65-Ounce Cartons (Pack of 9)

Several years back, someone gave me a box of Aspen mulling spices and they were truly lovely. I thought when I ordered these I was ordering the same thing, but there must be several formulas, and I picked the wrong one. I bought a number of packages intending to give them as gifts at Christmas time, but they still sit waiting to be wrapped because I'm not sure they're appealing enough for gifts. There's a strong orange presence in these spices, and I do think they would make a lovely addition to certain breads or muffins, though I haven't tried it yet. And they are pretty good sprinkled on grapefruit. Of course I'm looking for lots of uses for these because the gift wannabes are going to have to get consumed somehow.

I think this is the best flavor for cider. The first time I tried it was at a Christmas celebration at our Town Square and had to get some for myself. I add a carton to a gallon of apple juice, pour a cup, and heat it up in the microwave. Sometimes I will add whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Yum Yum Yum! Nice to warm up on a cold day.

This is a delicious spice for a variety of juices such as apple cranberry, apple cider, pineapple orange, etc. My family loves it hot or cold. I brought this mixed into hot apple cranberry juice to two gatherings and it was a hit! Everyone wanted to know what it was. I highly recommend this delicious product!

Very good in my hot apple cider. Better than plain cinnamon spice. Try adding this to cranberry orange relish. It's great!

French Champagne Vinegar - 33.8oz - (Pack of 3)

I was trying a chicken recipe that called for this vinegar...didn't really see that it would make much difference. So I made it 1st with rice vinegar, then with champagne vinegar. This product made a far more yummy entre. Thank you.

The French Champagne vinegar tasted so much better in vinaigrettes than my normal vinegar that I wanted to know why, so I read a few articles. It's smoother, with less bite, and has a tastier citrus flavor than normal vinegar.

Apparently 50% of vinegar used in the US is distilled vinegar made from corn. Wine vinegar, on the other hand, is made from grapes. Distilled vinegar is about 5 7% acidity, and wine vinegar from France is regulated at 6%. While wine vinegar is aged (Beafor in oak barrels), I don't think distilled vinegar is aged (or perhaps it is in steel vats).

I think that's what makes the French Champagne vinegar taste better. Beaufor also makes a White Wine (Blanc) vinegar that tastes pretty close, and Vilux brand makes a Champagne vinegar that is less expensive and tasty.

I think anything more than six bucks a bottle (500 ml for the Beaufor and 750 ml for the Vilux) is a bit steep. If you use a lot of vinegar, do a Google search for "Beaufor Champagne vinegar 5 liters" and you can find very large jugs for cheap.

Columbus Salame Company Sliced Pepper Salame 10 Ounce

Great taste and just the correct amount of pepper! Had it delivered to my APO AE address in Iraq. The 3lb stick and the regular sliced salami as well. Shared with all, and saved some for me to enjoy later. Being an Italian, this was as good as a salami as I have ever had. Better than the salami I had in Rome too! Makes the mouth water and craving for it again now! Best to enjoy in moderation, it is a high sodium food, but oh so good and worth the guilty pleasure! Made some sandwiches too with spicy mustard! Only thing missing was sharp provolone cheese! That they won't deliver to an APO AE address, bummer. Enjoy and time for me to order some more!

I have not had this product in the pre-sliced package displayed here, however I did get it from my local deli sliced off of a larger piece and the flavor of this particular salame is outstanding. The pepper crust is really the best part and really makes you appreciate the often under-appreciated black peppercorn. Sliced very thinly this is a great snack all by itself.
