Wine Yeast (10 Packs) Montrachet Red Star for Wine Making

Wine Yeast Montrachet Red Star for Wine MakingGood dry finishing wine yeast. I use it in making Apfelwein. Others have experimented with different yeasts, but I've been happy enough with the results to not feel the need to do so.

I started making wine just a few months ago. Being the bone-headed "show me" type of person, I thought i'd give a few types of Yeast a test run. Red Star Montrachet wine yeast has been great for my first purple grape wine. The result was a very enjoyable first attempt at wine making.

Got exactly the quality I was looking for with this yeast. I would definitely purchase it again and recommend it to others.

The yeast came packaged well. It is dated freshly and has worked great in ferments so far. I have no complaints and would order again.

Worked well in my daughter first efforts at homebrew for this Christmas Day. She was so thrilled at the results.

Viognier (Vintner's Reserve)

ViognierI first made the Viognier from a Winexpert Vintner's Reserve wine kit some six years ago. It remains one of my favorite white wines. A dry, medium-bodied white wine, it has the fruity overtones of peaches and apricots. This is a great dinner wine, one that pairs especially well with spicy Thai or Mexican dishes. It's also great on a summer evening with strong-flavored or salty cheeses.

Like all the Winexpert kits in the Vintner's Reserve series, the Viognier comes with explicit and easy-to-follow directions. The process from mixing to bottling takes about six weeks and should take no more than three to four hours of total time to complete. Each kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles of wine, which works out to quite a bargain, since the total cost of the kit is under $70. The wine is ready to drink within a month or two of bottling, although it continues to mature for about a year. This is a great wine for a moderate price.

I've been using this kit for years and it never fails. Others I've tried have been cheaper but the results paled in comparison.

Marsala Sauce

Marsala SauceWe were looking for a Marsala sauce to replace the one that Trader Joe's stopped carrying which was terrific. This one is not as good, but better than the last two we tried.

I was pleasantly surprised how excellent this sauce was! Two jars with a pound of pasta, and it was restaurant quality. The longer I let the pasta sit with the sauce, the longer it soaked up the juices, the better it tasted. For a quick and delicious dinner, you can't go wrong.

Kraft Light Raspberry Vinaigrette with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Reduced Fat Dressing, 16-Ounce Plasti

Kraft Light Raspberry Vinaigrette with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Reduced Fat Dressing, 16-Ounce Plastic BottlesThis review is regarding the dressing, not the price set by this seller. I LOVE this salad dressing. The flavor is fresh and fruity. I like the vinaigrette style because it evenly coats all parts of my salad. I am watching my weight and have increased the number of salads I eat. I can create a huge salad, add two tablespoons of Kraft Light Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing, mix, and it spreads over everything. No clumps or blobs of dressing like with other flavors of dressings.

Two tablespoons comes to only 50 calories. Awesome!!

I love this dressing. The problem I have found with lots of "light" dressings is that they taste too watered down and are lacking in body. This stuff is delicious! I tried it over just a plain salad of greens, tomato and some colby-jack and it was delicious. Can't wait to use it on my chicken salads. It tastes like a vinaigrette but with just enough sweetness. I also love that it doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup. I compared the label on this to lots of other brands and this one was the only one that didn't contain HFCS or red dye. I did not have the experience the other reviewer did, I think they got a bad bottle. I personally love this stuff.

The worst raspberry salad dressing available. The flavors (olive oil?) are fighting each other. It smells atrocious... like someone's dirty feet after pouring vinegar on them. And the odor lingers in the air, driving you to distraction.

It will certainly make you wash your dishes quickly. There are amazing Raspberry salsad dressing put there. This isn't one. Disgusting

I have had trouble finding this dressing at my local grocery. I was delighted to find it at Amazon. My one complaint was they changed the bottle design by eliminating the dribble spout. Now it is hard to control the amount you put on your salad. When Kraft added the word "Anything" to the description to encourage you to use it on more than just salad they opened the bottle neck to make it easier to pour larger amounts.

I have actually lost 30 lbs using this dressing on spinach leaves with dried strawberries and cranberries. Having it delivered to my door is even better

Australian Cabernet Shiraz (Selection International)

Australian Cabernet ShirazWines made with a blend of two or more grapes are always a little tricky to get just right. Thankfully, the Selection International Series from Winexpert wine kits is typically right on the mark. Its "Australian Cabernet Shiraz" is no exception. I've made 40 or more wines from wine kits over the past six years. This is one of the best. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent bottle of wine that would retail at several times the cost per bottle. (Since the wine kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles and the kit costs under $120, at approximately four dollars a bottle this is a real steal.)

The Selection International Series comes with easy-to-follow instructions. The five steps involved (which are done over a 6-8 week period) won't take more than three or four hours of your time altogether, and that includes sanitizing of the equipment and cleanup. Moreover, this series comes with easy-to-affix (and remove) labels, which is a plus in helping to keep track of your wine.

Volpi Chianti Salame - 8 oz

Volpi Chianti Salame - 8 ozI received the Volpi Chianti Salami in a gift package created by one of my friends. I had never tried this salami until a few weeks ago. It is fantastic! I no longer eat regular salami's since trying the Chianti Salami. I have placed two orders since having received the gift package.

This is quite possibly the best tasting salami I have ever eaten! I had a little trouble removing the casing but as it is all natural I wasn't too worried about eating a little bit of it with the salami.

Purchased at World Market, which also featured other salami flavors from Volpi. This was our first try at "dry-cured" versus "smoked" but certainly won't be the last. We always keep at least one or two of these in our pantry... they are great sliced with cheese, crackers, wine and fruit for a plate full of nibbles. Highly recommended!
