This product made a great Christmas Surprise for my 89 year old mother. She has enjoyed this cheese and it is a product that can not be found in a lot of stores. This company and especially a gentleman named Mike were very helpful. However, they shipped the product using FEDEX and I am very unhappy with the service I received from FEDEX. The product was clearly marked PERISHABLE and the driver left it without notifying anyone. I found the product 3 or 4 days later and it had been quite warm here in Florida. When I called the shipper, Mike was quite helpful and told me to discard the first package and he would ship another one. He made sure that it arrived in time for Christmas. I happened to be outside when FEDEX delivered the second package and mentioned what had happened the first time. The driver copped an attitude with me. I will highly recommend the product and the shipping company but am very unhappy with FEDEX...

I did not eat this cheese. It was a gift for my elderly father who LOVES Limburger. It was delivered directly to his apartment door which was awesome. He lives in a seniors indoor apt. complex. That said, he reported that it was extremely mild, no kick. He had to add allot of onion to taste any flavor. He was very very disappointed. Would not order again. Although the shipping worked out great.

Cheese was great but I was expecting a much stronger taste. There was nothing wrong with what I received however.

Porto Wine Vinegar 6.8oz

Bought this at a boutique market in So Cal. I did so because the label said it was sweet. I don't know if it was on the shelf too long (as with alot of products in these boutiquey low volume markets), but it was soooo not even close to sweet, just pure tart vinegar. It went straight into the trash. I didn't see any expiration date jumping out at me. Would have been nice to see one prominently so I could have been warned.

The very best vinegar. Not to tart and it goes well on so much. Try it on cabbage or in a reduction!

Premier Cuvee (10 Packs) Wine Yeast

Just got the chance to try this yesterday on a batch of mead. Of course added yeast energizer and nutrient to batch, rehydrated in a yeast starter and pitched after it started working. Really like this yeast, fast starter and strong fermenter ( airlock is really chuggin' along ).

Also low foamer which to me is a big plus.

I make home-made wine a lot. This yeast works great and doesn't leave that strong "yeasty" flavor you get with some yeasts. bought 10 pacs and plan to order more.

I have made more than 100 gallons of wine from packaged wine kits and never had a problem until recently. For some reason the the fermentation process stopped. I decided to try Red Star Premier Cuvee and the fermenting has begun once again and I'll have wine in a few more weeks. I chose this yeast because it has a high tolerance to alcohol and, as stated in the description, it restarts "stuck" fermentations.

Bought this to boost the ABV of an IPA I brewed. It worked...lots of alcohol! Still waiting for the flavors to mingle enough that the beer is pleasant to drink (hops haven't come to full fruition yet, and it's still a little sweet) but this product did the trick, got it up to about 15% ABV :)

SeaBear Smoked Sockeye Salmon Red, 2-Ounce Units (Pack of 4)

Two things disappointed me about this product. First, the portions really are tiny -two ounces makes a thin piece about two inches by two inches square, and that includes skin. It's enough for a small appetizer for one, but no more. I would not give someone such a skimpy amount as a gift.

Second, the salmon itself is on the dry side. While I don't like my smoked salmon to be *too* oily, this goes to the opposite extreme. The result is not as flavorful and satisfying as I would prefer.

I will definitely eat the remaining packs, but would not buy this product again.

Reserve Du Chateau 4 Week Wine Kit, Italian Sangiovese, 17.5-Pound Box

Have tried many wine kits from this manufacturer. All kits are complete with labels, corks and the ingredients needed. Instructions are very easy to follow. Does make a good wine. Don't rush the process, once I get to the clearing process, I'll rack the wine several times to make sure all of the sediment on the bottom is removed. Don't want it to look like a snow globe, especially with white wines. Enjoy!!!

I am very happy with this wine in a box kit. Sure there are more expensive products available but for the dollar paid I get a very drinkable vino. I use this as my house/table red and am quite satisfied. I add 1/2 cup of toasted american oak chip to the initial batch and let it age for 3 months and end up with a quality chianti style wine that my grandfather would have been proud to serve at his table. Using the ship and save makes it a cheaper end result in the glass. You will not regret buying this box kit, just remember that time and care make a better vino. ;) salute!

French Tarragon Vinegar - 25.4oz - (Pack of 3)

I went to at least eight different grocery and specialty stores and couldn't find tarragon vinegar. Finally found it here. Shipping was reasonably priced and arrived very timely and it's very good vinegar. It contributed greatly to the mustard recipe I needed it for.

Last Year a friend got me a bottle of this vinegar, I use it for my green beans. I was unable to find tarragon vinegar in any supermarket in my area. I was almost out and could not find the phone number of my friend that gave it to me. So I went on line and found the exact one and ordered it. It has to be the best Tarragon Vinegar I have ever had. Bremner Wafer Cracker

This wafer/cracker is great for snacks with a bit of cheese or shrimp on it. Just enough seasonings as not to be overpowering and just enough blandness as to not make the cracker boring. Right texture and not crumbly. Love it!
