These animals have been force fed by sticking metal tubes down their throats until their livers become 10 times their normal size. They frequently have gashes all over their beaks and throats. The ducks are so frightened of humans that even the few that have been rescued will never let a human touch them again.
Please don't be allow these companies to hide the facts from you, and the facts are unsettling, to say the least. Use your own judgement, but please don't be blind.

Fastachi® Super Nut Mix
I used to live close to Fastachi and went there often to purchase nuts for myself as well as friends and family for holidays and house warming. They roast the nuts there in the shop. The cashews just melt in your mouth they are so fresh. The mixes they offer are awesome. I personally love the cranberry nut mix. I love mixed nuts but I get sick of brands that consist primarily of peanuts. So I decided to give this brand a shot. As a total cheap-skate I was iffy about the shipping, but the product(s) arrived in a carefully packaged box. They used plenty of paper for padding and minimal plastic, which is actually a big plus for me. The largest percent of this mix seems to be almonds. However there are enough of the other types listed that I didn't feel that I had been ripped-off. The nuts themselves are fresh, flavorful and salted but not overly so. A little better quality wise than buying bulk at the store, at greater cost. I think it is worth it and will continue purchasing as long as they keep their quality up.

Good, but there are easier to prepare. You need to first put in boiling water before melting in a skillet. Others skip the first step and you go directly to the skillet -easier and quicker.
