Rowntrees Fruit Gums Carton 125g

Rowntrees Fruit Gums Carton 125gMost everyone in Britain knows this candy. I myself grew up eating 'em. The only warning would be that they are highly addictive. They are quite hard, requiring some chewing and do have a habit of sticking to your teeth.

Otherwise; I'd highly recommend them!

If you've ever enjoyed these fruity candies in the past, be prepared for a major change in the size. They are too small to truly appreciate the flavor.

After years of missing one of my favorite "sweets" from my childhood, I was excited to find I could order Fruit Gums on Amazon. My excitement quickly disappeared, however, when I ate the first one. It had a crusty outer layer that said they were stale. The entire package was that way, and I was left very disappointed.

Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Dill Mustard Sauce Marinade, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Dill Mustard Sauce Marinade, 12-Ounce BottlesI had purchased this item at Trader Joes with a slightly different name and with a Trader Joes label. Much to my dismay, they stopped carrying it. The ingredients on both bottles are the same even though they were listed in a slightly different order. I'm sure there are many uses but my primary use is as a sauce for my salmon. It makes a regular presentation instantly "gourmet". Everyone who has tasted this absolutely loves it.

6-3-13: I am updating my review to incorporate these ingredients: Canola Oil, Water, Honey, Rice Vinegar, Sugar, Mustard Seed, Dill Weed, Garlic, Spices, Distilled Vinegar, Lemon Juice and Xanthan Gum. I enjoy using this product now ever bit as much as I did when I first wrote my review. And, I am so pleased to see that it is still available for purchase.

Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Dill Mustard Sauce Marinage

This is the best sauce to pour over salmon or broccoli.

If you do not like either dish, pour this sauce over

the dish and you will love it. I recommend it highly.

For a quick and truly different experience, cut up red potatoes into bite-sized pieces; season lightly with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders (all optional); microwave till tender; serve with a generous topping of Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Mustard Dill Sauce. This is a tasty, piquant sauce/marinade exactly like the Lemon Dill Sauce Trader Joe's formerly sold under their own label. It's also excellent with broccoli, carrots, Dover sole, and schrod. Yummy!

I just happened upon this product as I was looking for finishing sauces and balsamic vinegars. The four reviews were excellent, however, I have in the past purchased food products based on good reviews and have been disappointed. I put this in my cart and tried to find additional information/reviews on the Internet. I couldn't many reviews beyond the four on Amazon.com. I was ambivalent but decided to take a chance & purchase the 6 bottles. This sauce has met all of my expectations and has fully met the recommendations of the four reviewers who gave it five stars. It will be delicious on vegetables, pasta, seafood, potatoes, etc. This is a delicious sauce and I hope that unlike Trader Joe's, Amazon never discontinues the sale of this lemon dill mustard sauce. It is delicious and very versatile. I highly recommend the purchase of the "Food & Wine Magazine Lemon Dill Mustard Sauce Marinade." It is incredibly delicious.

This is just like the one Trader Joes no longer carries and it is great on fish but even better on whole grain pasta!

Aspen Mulling Spice Blend, Caramel Apple, 5.65-Ounce Cartons (Pack of 9)

Aspen Mulling Spice Blend, Caramel Apple, 5.65-Ounce CartonsA diabetics nightmare--a container of sugar with traces of "spice." This should be avoided and is a terrble excuse for real mulling.

This is a mulling spice, of course not a drink in itself. But this spice can be used many ways stirred in to apple juice or orange juice (even the cheaper stuff!) and sprinkled over muffins, cookies or cakes are just some of the ways to use it. I buy 9 cartons at a time and split the cost with my mom. We love it. Just the right blend of sugars and spices! Yes, in a word YUM!

This product needs to be added directly to apple cider. This product only enhances apple cider it is not a drink itself.

Rougé Imported Gourmet Food PERIGORD Duck Rillettes

Rougé Imported Gourmet Food PERIGORD Duck RillettesI bought duck rillettes from Amazon because my usual favorite duck rillette was not carried anymore by chefshop.com. I was expecting a really good rillette. Full flavored rillette. What I got was a rellette that lacked even flavor of duck and herbs/spices. The texture was good however. Tasted more like a pork rillette. I would not recommend Rouge Perigord Duck Rillettes.

ICV D-47 Lalvin Wine Yeast (10 Packs)

ICV D-47 Lalvin Wine YeastUse this yeast for mead production. It gives a nice smooth mead that isn't overly dry. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great mead yeast.

I got this yeast to brew mead. Works great! And I have more left for future batches. No complaints here.

Great stuff. It has become our standard hard cider yeast. Used it in a batch of mead as well. Starts fermentation within 48 hours and carries on hard for about two weeks.

I've used it for a lot of Mead. I like that you can leave your wine on the lees for a longer period of time with D47 and not worry about off flavors. With nutrients and aerating, I've taken this yeast up to 16% alcohol. I think it's great.

Gustaf's Wine Gums, 2.2 Lb. Bag

Gustaf's Wine Gums, 2.2 Lb. BagIt was just like I had when I was in Sweden many years ago. I seemed nice and fresh and soft.

I bought these Gums not knowing what to expect but as soon as i tried the first one I knew I made a good choice. These things are great not too hard and not too soft. And they are really sweet but don't taste artificial. Would highly recommend this product!!

They tasted fine and looked fine. I just found it odd that they arrived in a clear unmarked bag. No ingredient listing, nutrition information, not even a brand name on the bag.

I was expecting these to taste close to Maynards wine gums, but they simply just don't. That said, they're enjoyable. The pieces are bigger and denser than their Maynards counterpart. The flavors are *as* distinguishable if you don't look at the color before eating, but they're still pretty good.

Taylors of Harrogate - Afternoon Darjeeling Tea - 50 Teabags

Taylors of Harrogate - Afternoon Darjeeling Tea - 50 TeabagsThis product is a high quality tea. I don't like oit as much as the Scottish tea blend by the same company, but it is still better than most other teas.

This is a great tea!! I just wished it came in a container that locked in more of that freshness...

I hadn't tried Darjeeling Tea before, and have since tried the Twining variety. The TAYLORS DARJEELING is now a constant of my day in the afternoon. I really look forward to it. It's not a strong tea, but it is a very flaverful tea, and a real afternoon delight.

Chai Diaries Premium Tea- Directly Sourced, All Natural Teas; 15 Full Leaf Pyramid Tea Bags

Chai Diaries Premium TeaToo soon for a final verdict, only one potful brewed. But, for the interim...

I was taken in by the name. If this is chai, it is the most subtlely spiced tea ever. Even the orange is very subtle. Bigelow Constant Comment has a big flavor, and something slightly more subtle would be appreciated, but this tea is too, too far at the other end of the continuum.

Container is impressive--good artwork, but unless a second or third potful changes my mind, the tea inside is not nice for the price.

Revision 1: I've gotten myself on the outside of a second and even third pot, I can now expand my comments. I do not normally use milk or cream in my tea, but I do use a sweetener--just enough to "round-off the corners." The second and third pots of this tea were taken with no sweetener (still no milk or cream). This tea is better without the sweetener--it gives you a subtle black tea flavor, very subtle (that's why it's better with no additions--it doesn't have "corners" to be rounded). I still adamantly state that it is NOT chai as I know it, and NOT orange. I will make the best of the remaining tea by drinking it sans sweetener. Not sure I will buy more--it's very pricey for all the NOTs.
