Purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend and we have been very impressed with the quality of the cheeses we received. We usually grab some wine and cheese on a fairly regular basis from restaurants or specialty stores so when I saw this online I figured it would be a great gift to try. It certainly opened our eyes to some varieties we had not tried in the past that we were both really pleased with. Overall it was a great gift and value!

Cheese? I received a cheese of the month package from my son as an unexpected gift just before Thanksgiving. Surprising! He knows I like IPA's and Cab's, but cheese? Doesn't that mean sipping Chardonnay and wearing turtlenecks? But on opening the package, we found three generous pieces of cheese with interesting names my wife knew, but I could not pronounce. When we opened them on Thanksgiving, everyone enjoyed tasting them and were impressed with the quality -uh, including me. So I learned that fancy cheese really does add to the enjoyment of a gathering and enhances the taste of my other favorites -those IPA's and Cab's. I don't know if it was just an accident, but it arrived the night before Thanksgiving -perfect timing. And there was a chill-pack in the box which kept the cheese in perfect condition.What a nice gift! Thanks, Son!

Overall we liked this, after all, what's better than cool cheeses delivered right to your door every month? This company seemed to have the best reviews when compared to other similar services. But ultimately it wasn't good enough to renew after the 3 months expired. I have 2 main criticisms, based on the cheese quality and shipping process.First about the cheese. For the first month, the cheese quality was great, and we were very happy to be trying new things. The 2nd batch was a bit more mixed we thought 2 cheeses were great, the 3rd was pretty generic, i.e., the type you can buy in any grocery store. The 3rd batch got worse, with 2 of the 3 being generic Wensleydale with cranberries, which I consider to be a gimmick cheese, and a very plain brie. It's quite a letdown to wait all month, only to get overpriced cheese that I could have picked up on my way home at the giant chain grocery store.
Now the shipping to me this is important when it's a monthly, recurring service. They provide no shipment tracking info unless you contact customer service. For a food shipment that is somewhat temperature sensitive (esp. when it's hot), this doesn't make sense. Heck, I can track my phone shipment all the way from the factory in China, so why not a box of cheese from Wisconsin? I ordered in October 2012, and the first shipment that was due in the last week of Oct was delayed due to Hurricane Sandy. I didn't mind the shipment being late, but it was very hard to get a sense of when it would actually arrive in spite of multiple emails with customer service. Looking at the tracking info, it was marked "ready for UPS" on 10/29 in Wisconsin, but not actually picked up until 11/5, and then it came on 11/7. A one-week delay in Wisconsin doesn't sound like Sandy's fault. The 2nd and 3rd months were better, but still a bit of a guessing game.
So overall, I think the cheese quality was good but somewhat diluted by generic fare, and the shipping was a little vague. The service is not exactly cheap, so that's why I gave them 3 stars.

Hawaii Roasters 100% Kona Coffee, Medium Roast, Whole Bean, 5 14-Ounce Bag
I have tried lots of different coffee brands this year, and this one, by far, is the best. Although I usually prefer a light roast, this medium roast is fantastic. I thought that Gevalia's blends were very good, but compared to this, there's nothing like Hawaiian Kona. The price is reasonable for Kona beans, and this brand really is exceptional.I drink it black, so it has to be good. There's no attempt to hide the flavor of crappy beans by over-roasting. Or, even worse, adding "flavorings" to mask an inferior product. If you have already tried this product and you know that you enjoy it, try searching for the "5 Pack" on Amazon. It's a good cost savings to purchase in bulk, the discount for buying 5 packages is equivalent to getting 2 packages for free.
This coffee is very fine quality. Recommended.
This is by far the best of the lot. It has a rich and complex taste with an almost nutty or fruity background character. Growing as it does on the lava slopes of the hawaiian islands, the beans pick up a significant amount of flavor from the rich soil. Although we are not frequent coffee drinkers or 'coffee-snobs', when we do drink coffee, this is what we drink. It's good enough that we went to the trouble of buying a good grinder and moving from ground to whole-bean just to get the added flavor.

Wine Country Chef Organic BBQ Spice Rub:This one we threw on a burger. Our son loves to eat them without the bun, and so we put it to the Harry test, is it too overpowering for a kid? Answer, no. It had a nice peppery taste without being "spicy" as Harry likes to say but provides the right amount of subtle pepper flavor. It does have a bite, no kick, but you definitely know there is something special on it. There were a lot of flavors going on, tasted great on a burger, would love to try it on a steak or some other beef. Rub it on all cuts of meat and vegetables, grilled or roasted. Mix it with meatballs and hamburgers. Add to soups and stews for that natural rich and warm and spicy flavor

mmmm. Coffee and caramel and almonds. How can you go wrong? There are crunchy little nubbins of coffee beans and cocoa nibs, but it's not quite as intense on the "I'm eating coffee beans" feeling as when you're eating those whole chocolate-covered coffee beans. Bellino Cookies
delish. perfect mix of sweet and bitter with great crunch.only drawback is there is wheat flour in the cookie, whereas an authentic amaretto cookie has none. I'll admit that's quibbling, but it does add a tiny element of "not as good"ness to the texture/flavor.
overall, a GREAT cookie at a terrific price. I bought a crate load and I'll be using them for cheesecake and pie crusts, additions to breads, etc. (not to mention, wonderful with a cup o'). but if you're a purist, you'll have to fork over twice as much $$.

Where should I start?? The one truly good thing I can say is that I've been a customer of Amazon for several years, and as always their shipping was prompt and accurate, I do not in any way hold Amazon accountable for my dissatisfaction with this product. That being said, I ordered this for my parents to give as a gift to someone else. When it arrived, I was appalled!! First of all, this being the HOLIDAY season, I was shocked that this was wrapped with a light green and gold bow with BLACK ribbon, looking more like a Halloween or fall gift! Even worse was the fact that the keepsake box looked NOTHING like what was advertised. You can see that it is supposed to be a cream colored leather box, but that is not what arrived....what arrived was a black and gray fabric box with a black leather lid, and very cheaply made. There is no covering (material or otherwise on the inside) just green cardboard, and the same for the bottom. After taking inventory of the items listed to be in the box, yes, they were all there.Perhaps worse than the quality of the box, the wrapping, and the fact that the keepsake box is not as advertised is what occurred when I called customer service at Art of Appreciation. I politely explained that I was unhappy with the box, and that it was nothing like the picture. The customer service lady stated that sometimes they had to substitute if they ran out. (Note that nowhere does it say in the description: subject to change). Upon giving her my order number, she said she could not help me because that was Amazon's number, so I would have to deal with them.....(really??? it's still their product???) I pointed out that they had the same picture on their own site, and asked if I ordered another of the same item but through THEM, what kind of box would I receive? She said she would check with her manager, and came back with a description of the same piece of junk I had received. I said I strongly suggest they change their picture, because I am sure they will have a lot of displeased customers. Her response was to tell me they "hadn't had time".....really?? I know of it being advertised at least 3 weeks this way, and there hasn't been time to change the pic?? Needless to say, the response about the ribbon was useless, with the response being: I understand, I wouldn't be happy with those colors either. (Gee, thanks!) There was no attempt to please me as a customer whatsoever, not even a cursory apology, I was simply told several times that she couldn't help me because Amazon bought the product from them.....not satisfactory to me, since it is their product with their name on it, and obviously came shrink-wrapped by them! Finally, I found it completely laughable (and actually had to bite my tongue) when her reasoning for not being able to help me was that due to the order number belonging to Amazon and not Art of Appreciation, she couldn't help me BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE MY NAME OR ADDRESS!!! I had to bite my tongue to not respond: get a pen and paper if it's not too much trouble, because I'm fairly certain that "I" CAN GIVE YOU MY NAME AND ADDRESS....the only reason I did not, was because it was very apparent that she was not willing to help. At this time it has been over two days since that phone call, as you can see for yourself.....they are STILL advertising an INCORRECT PICTURE.
The ONLY reason I did not contact Amazon to return this was because my parents did not have the desire to fool around with shipping it back and shopping for another gift. However I am quite certain that if I had, Amazon would have been much more helpful to deal with.
