White Zinfandel (Vintner's Reserve)

If I could give this product a 10-star rating I certainly would. It was one of the first kits I made and I was completely impressed with the ease of the process and the resulting product. If you are looking for the typical "Blush" or rose colored White Zinfandel, this is not the one for you. It is a deeper red, closer to a regular Zinfandel. But if you want a wine that is exquisite, with a wonderful flavor, then do not hesitate. I have made two of these kits and will soon do a third as I am down to only 6 bottles. The first one was consumed very quickly as it was the only wine on the shelf, and it was very good. But the second kit has had a bit more time to mature and it is EXCELLENT.

The product description says to serve "well chilled" but I have found that the flavors come through much better if it is not too cold. We had it with Thanksgiving dinner last year and it was a wonderful complement to everything.

Do not hesitate to "attack" this kit with great enthusiasm. I think you will not be disappointed.

Kraft Seven Seas Viva Italian Anything Dressing, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

This is the best tasting salad dressing that Kraft has and I cannot understand why in the world they would discontinue it. I have used it for many years as a dressing and as a marinade. They have put more and more dressings on the market, but none can compare with Viva. I have tried going back to Wishbone and they have changed their recipe too. Kraft has certainly lost a customer here.

This is the best tasting bottled Italian dressing that ever was. It is a crying shame that Kraft discontinued it. I bought 2 cases of it and stocked up. I'm going to be sad when they're all gone. :(

I also make my own pickles, and in one batch added a quarter bottle to each jar and made homemade Viva Italian pickles!!! YUM!

I've used this dressing on my salads since I was a kid! I wouldn't buy anything else. But it's getting harder and harder to find. I've had a hard time finding any in the stores where I live now, so my family ships a few bottles to me every once in a while...or they get me some for my birthday. True story.

I also use it to marinate chicken and fish, add a little kick to my sandwiches, or I'll drizzle some over a baked potato. Yum!

This dressing is our family's favorite dressing and marinade. It's a great marinade for fish and chicken as well as the best store bought salad dressing.

Lt. Blender's Wine Freezer, Peach Bellini, 9.7-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3)

was surprised, it was very good. it doesnt stay slushy very long but the taste is wonderful just cold too.

We just like the previous poster had gone to Pigeon Forge and did the wine sampling and LOVED the peach slushy drink mix! I tried the other one she made, i think it was a raspberry wine but im not sure which freezer she mixed it with. She did say that the raspberry one was the most popular but i didnt like as much course i am not a wine drinker. I found the peach to be a smooth peachy taste and it is sooooo good! Glad i can order more!

While we were visiting Pigeon Forge, TN we went to the Apple Barn Winery, and they used these for mixing with the wine they made and sold there. I have to say it made the wine taste a lot better than it did without it. I personally am not a wine drinker, but when I tasted the wine mixed with these mixers I was alittle hooked. It gives the wine a nice slushy texture, and it gives the wine a nice peach flavoring without over powering the taste. I really liked the addition that this mixers gave to the wine. I have purchased several of these and would love to try other flavors that they have available. I would also suggest the strawberry

for wine, it is also good.

I have not tried the Margarita yet but plan to do so in the future. These are soooo good that it has got me to be a somewhat of a wine drinker now, which I have never been before. If you would like alittle bit of a twist to your wine then I would suggest trying these, I don't think you will be disappointed. They are cheap and very tasty.

Amazon has the cheapest prices on these, that I have found thus far. The company sells them on their website, but by the time you pay for shipping its a lot more expensive than purchasing it here on Amazon.

Reserve Du Chateau 6 Week Wine Kit, South African Sauvignon Blanc, 55-Pound Container

A real bargain, especially if youare n Amazon Prime customer. I am a huge fan of the new flavor profile of Sauvignon blanc that has grown out of the new New Zealand styles. The crazy quilt f dry, topical, slty, limey, gooseberry flavors and aromas make the New New World Sauvignon (NZ, Chile, South Africa) one of mot complex and gratifying white wines out there. This S. A. version is exemplary. Beautifully aromatic, full of spice, pine, green apples and grapefruit notes, long dryf finish. This is a really nice bottle wine AND it cost me less than two bucks a bottle. Yiu cannot beat that.

One suggestion, i used R2 yeast rather than the EC-1118 that came with it, and I believe that kicked up the greener flavors I like in SV.

Nice kit and fermenation went well and the wine finished nice and dry, but it has not so subtle anise charater that is not suited to a patio white wine. Not sure if this is a charaterisic of this appellation or what, but I will order the New Zealand kit next time. I keg, rather than bottle, the wine so I have the flexibility of pouring one glass or one liter and it does mix nicely, so I see a lot of sangrias this summer.
