Very good product. Excellent in salads and to cook. Much lighter and less acidic than vinegar. My only concern is shelf life.

When the wine shop I typically buy from wasn't able to get this particular type of wine so I ordered it from Amazon. The kit is 'brewing' as I write but i was pleased with the quick delivery. I did expect this to be a Sparkling wine but it isn't. i'm sure that was my mistake. The price was comparative with other wine kits as well. Thanks Amazon.

This is an addictive snack! I don't often buy vinegar flavored chips because the taste of vinegar is usually overly strong. I love this potato chip! The red vinegar is a perfect compliment to the salty chip and there's just a hint of sweetness. Try it for yourself!

I love this company and I love their products, but this particular flavor combo just doesn't work. There is a nice vinegar tang up front, but the jelly donut aroma and sweetness is downright odd. I recently stopped drinking sugar and artificial sweeteners and switched to soda water (I don't like plain uncarbonated water). This is awesome I add a bit to my soda water and it smells amazing and pretty, but doesn't alter the taste too much (you don't feel like you're drinking rose-flavored water, really; it just smells good). It's interesting and helps add some variety and interest to the soda water.No idea how this is in cocktails, but it's great for making drinking a little more interesting.

I recieved this item in the mail and the bottle top was loose and had leeked inside the packing. The bottle label was wet and unreadable. The seal on the top was intack, but it still leeked. Roland French Aged Red Wine Vinegar, 33.8 oz
Yes, many search for a substitute for Dessaux Fils Vinegar, out of business for years, once Julia Childs' only vinegar, with a perfectly aged and balanced flavor and virtually zero vinegar edge. The Roland review that recommends their aged red wine vinegar as a substitute for Dessaux Fils is off the mark. The Roland is fine, but at 7% acidity, it is closer to the Italian style and much too harsh. The closest we have found is Dutour Red Wine Vinegar (Aged in Wood). At 6%, it is almost as smooth and balances at Dessaux Fils.

The Roland works despite its expense, but it is worth every penny, if you want an authentic French vinaigre. Several years ago I used to buy Lea & Perrins White Wine Worcestershire Sauce all the time. It was simply the best way to cook chicken--add some potatoes, onions and mushrooms (sometimes peas or green beans) and it cooked up the easiest but elegant dinner. Then without warning, my store stopped carrying it. It wasn't listed on the Lea & Perrins site. It was just gone. I was thinking about chicken recipes today and on an off-chance googled white wine Worcestershire and this page came up. I am happy to see its made again! Its even back on Lea & Perrins website. Still can't buy it in the stores but ordering it here is the next best thing. There truly is not anything better on the market (trust me I looked for a good substitute...)Glad its back...now to get it back on the grocery shelves.

I am dissappointed that I cannot purchase this item at the grocery store like I used to! The cost of shipping to me makes purchasing any more of these bottles prohibitive and so I will not do it. Not until I need a fix or can figure out how to make my own! I use it in many recipes and found that it was gone quickly, I will miss it.
I came across an old bottle of this in the fridge. Obviously there for years. Knowing my parents, it could have been 10 plus years old. No dates anywhere on the bottle or faded & torn label. Eventually, curiosity got the best of me & the risk of getting sick from eating something I had no idea how old it was fell to the wayside. I tried it. Much to surprise, this was the best tasting marinade or sauce I had ever had. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to find it any where in the Los Angeles area. Even my foodie friends have never heard of it, though my tastes run quite a bit more simple than theirs do. Well my friends, I have found it here and will be ordering it as soon as I finish writing this review. ENJOY!!!
