Vintner's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 10L Wine Kit

Vintner's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 10L Wine KitI have been making wine from Winexpert Vintner's Reserve wine kits for six years. I have never had a failure. The kit comes with excellent and specific instructions. The kit produces approximately 30 750ML bottles of high-quality wine. The cost per bottle is a little more than $2. The quality of the wine is worthy of a bottle that costs ten times as much retail.

More specifically, regarding the Cabernet Sauvignon, I made a batch about four years ago. The taste turned out true with rich body and excellent clarity. If you choose to make the Cab, try not drinking it for several months after bottling, since the wine will mature with age. After a couple years, the taste is even better.

Big Tree Farms Coconut Palm Sugar with Ginger Root, 8.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3)

Big Tree Farms Coconut Palm Sugar with Ginger Root, 8.5-Ounce BoxesI recently realized that drinking sugar in my chai tea is not doing any good for me. A friend of mine recommended using Big Tree Farms ginger palm sugar, I made a switch and felt amazing, no sugar side effects any more. The flavor is yummy. I love this company and truly supports their vision. Great products with health benefits.

Have you tried their Coconut palm sugar +Stevia? its another wonderful addition to my kitchen. Love and Respect for Big Tree Farms.

~A Buyer

I bought this as an indulgence for my herbal tea at night. The flavor is amazingly sweet with the heat of ginger and brings out the best in my cup. I'm finding myself using it more than once a day some days... and that's not a bad thing at all!

Pfeiffer Dressing, Red Wine Vinaigrette, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

Pfeiffer Dressing, Red Wine Vinaigrette, 16-Ounce BottlesI chose this rating because it is the best. I would recommend it to everyone that uses red wine vinegar dressing. Wish it would get put back into the supermarkets.

Makes a great chilled green bean salad...just the right amount of zing! Was thrilled to find I could finally get this dressing somewhere.............been using it for years.

About 20 years ago, I was hooked on a red wine salad dressing from the York Steak House chain. We visited there annually on our family vacation and I longed for this salad dressing.

After many years, the chain closed and some research revealed that the dressings they used were all made by Marzetti. We started buying it at the grocery store. Then the grocery store quit carrying it.

So we called the company and bought cases of it.

Then Marzetti discontinued manufacturing.

Then they started selling it on another brand called "Teresa's". So we ordered cases of it.

Then Teresa's quit selling it.

Now it's been quite a few years since we've been able to find this dressing.

On a whim, I decided to look for it again. Turns out that Marzetti company owns and makes this brand of dressing, which sells a lot cheaper than Marzetti.

So, if you've ever loved the red wine dressing from Marzetti's, York Steak House, or Teresa's brand, this is your huckleberry. And for a pretty reasonable price, too.

This is a very vinagary tasting dressing. Quite strong so be mindful when using it. I don't care for dressings that are sweet tasting and this one is not at all.

Kristian Regale Sparkling Beverage, Lingonberry-Apple, 25.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 4)

Kristian Regale Sparkling Beverage, Lingonberry-Apple, 25.4-Ounce BottlesSame great carbonation as always from kristian regale. Red raspberry color, but almost with a touch of orange, and smells very different from any other juice I've had, must be the lingonberry, and I can get just a touch of the apple, a bit of a tart smell. A bit of a musky, dusty rose scent. It's a bit more strongly carbonated on the tongue, the fizz completely evaporates. Only a hit of the apple gets through the very powerful lingonberry. As typical, it's not as sweet as most juices, but also has a slightly bitter finish, and medium acidity. It had some noticeable dregs at the end.

As for paring I'd drink it with something that you'd normally have with a fruity drink, maybe mexican food like fajitas or burritos.

Did I Like it: Not as much as Kristian Regále's Pomegranate offering, but it's still a unique drink worth trying.

As a non-drinker, I have had lots of non-alcoholic beverages. There is something classy and smooth about this one. Tiny bubbles seems more akin to champagne rather than large bubbles in the others that is more akin to soda pop. The ligonberry-apple really makes it special and holiday-like.

Symphony (Selection Original)

SymphonyThe "Symphony" wine from Winexpert was one of the first wines I made from a wine kit. It remains one of my favorites. A dry, medium-bodied wine, it exhibits several fruity overtones, including grapefruit, melon, mango, and papaya. Made with Grenache Gris grapes, it pairs well with spicy foods, such as Szechuan and Mexican foods, or it may be enjoyed by itself or with fruit on a warm, summer evening.

Like the other wine kits from Winexpert, the process involved in making this excellent wine is simple and straightforward. The wine kit comes with explicit directions, which, if you follow them, you simply can't go wrong. Three or four hours of your time is all you'll need over the six-week period between the initial mixing to the bottling. Being a white wine, it will be ready to drink in two or three months after bottling, although it continues to develop with age for at least a year.

The wine kit produces approximately 30 750ML bottles of wine. As a moderately-priced kit, the cost per bottle is less than four dollars. The quality of the final product is equal to that of a wine that would ordinarily cost four times that amount.

Taylors of Harrogate Afternoon Darjeeling Loose Tea Tins, 4.41-Ounce Tins

Taylors of Harrogate Afternoon Darjeeling Loose Tea Tins, 4.41 Ounce TinI've tried all sorts of different Darjeeling teas and was often disappointed. This tea, however, immediately became my all time favorite tea of all. It's strong but still has a very rounded and almost malty flavor. I can only recommend this tea to anyone, beginners as well as hard core tea fans. I still buy other teas, but I gave up experimenting with other Brands of Darjeeling Teas besides this one form Taylors of Harrogate. This one is the best!

Taylors of Harrogate can be counted on for quality tea, and this Afternoon Darjeeling Loose Tea is no exception. I just had my first cup, and here's my verdict: It has plenty of smooth flavor and didn't clog my very fine tea filter with tea dust, except for three small pieces that were easy to dislodge. I made it strong, with three teaspoons of tea in 15 ounces of boiled water, and the addition of a splash of half-and-half and 25 drops of liquid Sweet 'n Low.

I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer for this variety, though my favorite Taylors of Harrogate tea is their Special Rare Assam Loose Leaf Tea which I also tried for the first time today.

Use one full teaspoon per cup. (One more for the pot if you are making a pot) Steep for no more than four minutes. I like it with milk and sugar. No comparison to the 'dust' used to fill tea bags.
