Edmond Fallot Mustard Crock - Dijon (9 ounce)

Edmond Fallot Mustard Crock - DijonAfter coming back from a Software User Group Conference where there was a Mustard Tasting booth, this has quickly become the go to Dijon mustard in our household.

Marukan Rice Vinegar 24 Oz.

Marukan Rice Vinegar 24 Oz.My friend recommended this vinegar as he uses it in his salads. I couldn't find it locally anywhere so I ordered it online. It tastes delicious and with some good olive oil makes a salad scrumptious!

Making peach chutney on the spur of the moment, I was out of my usual "plain old" cheapie vinegar. I substituted this Marukan rice wine vinegar and was delighted with the results. My chutney was deliciously mellow, while still tart enough to compliment the curries it accompanied. Henceforth I'll keep a bottle of this in the pantry!

Nothing special. I wont buy this again. I'm experimenting with exotic vinegars. This is pretty ordinary, like the plain white vinegar we used for easter egg dye

Officer Smoked Cod Liver 4.26 oz

Officer Smoked Cod Liver 4.26 ozThis was my favourite brand of cod liver, it's hard to find in Toronto, so I buy a dozen at a time when I find it. However, the last purchase, every one of the cans I opened was very lightly packed, about one third liver and the rest just oil. Even worse, the liver had dark, grey spots that would turn my stomach just looking at them. Perhaps good cod liver has become a thing of the past, like many other delicacies. I would prefer if they just raised the price to whatever it needs to be to provide the quality that we deserve when we spend our hard earned money, or, if that's not possible, just let the fish live and make soyburgers or something.

It is recommended that you drain the oil which I do not but need to consume it cold. 121 grams = 4.26 oz, OVER and I repeat, OVER 100,000 IU vitamin A (2,000%), 10,000 IU vitamin D (2,500%), 20,000 MG Omega-3, 570 MG cholesterol (190%), 100 g fat (150%)... I have consumed cod liver from Ireland, Latvia, Denmark... It has so much vitamin A that can be considered toxic less alone, fat and cholesterol. Not a strong tasting at all in its own clear oil. I place it in a sealed container and consume a small portion at a time as medicine since (over 8,000) very high in inflammation factor. Officer a is branch of Bornholms Corp located in a very cold island in Denmark called Bornholms with fishing industry. Clean, trustworthy, excellent product. Bravo.

Diamanti Specialty Wine Kit, Red Sherry Style, 13.5-Pound Box

Diamanti Specialty Wine Kit, Red Sherry Style, 13.5-Pound BoxI purchased both red and white sheery from Diamanti. Diamanti Specialty Wine Kit, White Sherry Style, 13.5-Pound Box

They both tasted very similar, not enough distinction for me. The red was lacking, thus why it's reviewed here. For the price, it was OK.

I probably won't get the sherry again from this brand.

Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar

Blackberry Ginger Balsamic VinegarThis is the best stuff ever! Helps me eat large quantities of healthy salad every day. I never get tired of it and it is not high calorie fat-loaded goo. It is yummy! I now have a cupboard full so I never run out. I even bring it with me sometimes when I go out, knowing that so many restaurants coat their greens with bad stuff.

Q Tonic Water 4 Pack

Q Tonic Water 4 PackI love this stuff! I drink premium Vodka tonics, so for Christmas in 2009 my husband got me the tonic sample kit sold here. I tried every one. My favorite by far is the Q tonic. It is clean, a little citrusy, and I love the fact that it uses organic Agave sweetener for a healthier, lower-calorie drink.

You haven't really tasted how good a gin and tonic can be until you've tasted your favorite gin (I like Hendricks)with this tonic water. No aftertaste. This is truly a clean and refreshing taste. I love this stuff.

Having been an ex-Hendricks man (now drink Plymouth exclusively no back sass) this is a great alternative to regular or diet tonic. Don't expect the taste to floor you, in fact, some of the "posts" comment that it's flat & boring. It's much more subtle. O.K. if your taste buds must be loaded with sugar or you do not care for a clean gin and are heavy on the "Botanicals," then this might not be the tonic for you.

But if you are tired of the sugar in regular tonic water or the crap in diet tonic water, than this is a nice choice. With a little bit of lime and a little heavier on the gin, this makes for a heavenly drink where you can savor the gin & tonic mixture. Cuts out a lot of calories, too!

One word of caution it can lose it's carbonation, quick. Best to buy the small bottles (I've purchased both) and put a bottle type pressure sealer on the top if you want to save the little residue of the small bottle (if you're only having one drink.)

I've been drinking this mixer with G&Ts for close to a year now. Switching back to a grocery store Tonic brand the other day got me almost nauseous. Q Tonic has a very light taste, is made with quality ingredients, and has a low sugar/calorie content. If you're going to get calories might as well get it from the alcohol and not sugar.

I guess like so many other things, it comes down to taste. I really like it with my new gin, New Amsterdam. YMMV

Want Q Tonic Water 4 Pack Discount?

I've been wanting to try Q Tonic for years, because I avoid high-fructose corn syrup (or any corn syrup, for that matter) in my diet, and it is close to impossible to find a tonic water without corn syrup, although I notice now that there are a few other brands out there, too. Q Tonic is sweetened with agave nectar, which is actually one of the two ideal sweeteners for me (honey being the other). I also appreciate that it has natural, Peruvian quinine. I absolutely love tonic water and was hoping that Q Tonic would satisfy my jones for same. However, I must say that I am not wowed by the flavor of Q Tonic. It isn't bad, mind you, but it is just very ho-hum, no depth, and certainly not the intensity of QUININE that I love.

If I lived in an area in which Q Tonic was available in stores, I would probably buy it occasionally. But I can't justify ordering such an expensive product when the flavor just isn't there, nor is the quinine satisfaction that any fellow quinine aficionados out there (and we are few and far between *lol*) will understand that I'm talking about when I say (as the famous quote goes about the suburbs): "there was no there there".

Disappointing, yet still rates four stars from me for the sheer fact that it has no corn syrup and has natural quinine. It just needs a lot more OF the quinine, in my humble opinion. And I'd like to know what the "natural bitters" are, too. Perhaps it needs another good hit of those, too.
