Pacific Coast Classic Dried Fruit Tray Gift

Pacific Coast Classic Dried Fruit Tray GiftI purchased one for a gift and decided to try one for myself. The dried fruit was moiste and tastey. The nuts were fresh. I would definetly recommed this as a holiday basket or a thinking of you. The apperance was good and the taste just as good.

I got this as a Christmas present for my Aunt who loves both dried fruit and nuts. I actually had to supplement this gift with something else because the tray size was so small. I was really disappointed. The quality was great, but the price for the size was not.

I wasn't sure what to expect with fruit ordered over the internet but this gift box was really fresh and delicious.

I will be definitely ordering from this company in the future with no hesitation.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Wow... talk about SMALL!! this is in a 9" x 9" box sub divided by four smaller containers. Very small portions for the large price! I can get my fruit and nuts in states other than Cali. if this is what everything costs. Save your money, go to your grocery and make your own fruit/nut tray. You'll get 3 x's the amount and will look much better.

I'm sure that the fruit and nuts are just fine. But, if for example, you want to buy fruit and nuts that were grown in the Golden State instead of just packed there, you should know that on the label on the back it says that it's from Argentina, another country I've forgotten, and the USA. No mention of California at all.

Chocolate-Covered Wine Grapes (3.5 ounce)

Chocolate-Covered Wine GrapesProduct was average, not a lot of flavor and the ammount was small. Doubtful that I would buy product again.

I heard about these on TV and wanted to try them and they were real good. Gone in no time.

Moliterno Black Truffle Pecorino (8 ounce) by igourmet

Moliterno Black Truffle Pecorino by igourmetI was very disappointed when I received the cheese. I ordered this to take to my sister-in-law's house for Easter (we both had it a relative's house and loved it). The taste of the cheese without the truffle, is really nothing special. But with a large amount of black truffle, it's wonderful!

Great transactionfresh wonderful cheese. I will be buying this again. We had trouble buying it though igourmet directly as we live in Canada and we mailing it to the USAAmazon site was much better.

Cavalli Silver Label Traditional Balsamic Vinegar

Cavalli Silver Label Traditional Balsamic VinegarIf you haven't tried this style of balsamic vinegar, do so! The high price of admission is well worth it. A quarter teaspoon can make even a winter tomato almost palatable. Its addition to a stew or sauce makes that je ne sais quoi difference to the taste that makes everyday food special. It is my host/hostess gift of choice for my friends who cook. The silver label is almost as good as the gold and definitely worth the step up from the red.

The Cavalli silver label is an amazing Balsamic unlike anything you will have ever bought in the grocery store. It's very rich and sweet with a mild acidic finish. You will not use this for salads but for cheeses or drizzled as a glaze for quality beef dishes. The good thing is that you need only use a few drops at a time so while expensive, this product will last for 4-6 months with occasional usage. It's worth it in my humble opinion. I've had a "thing" for balsamic vinegars for many years in the same way that many people do for fine wines. I've experimented with many of the best and this is one of them. Only the Gold label from Cavelli is better but it's considerably more expensive and though I love great Balsamic's I do have limits.

It may seem like a very decadent extravagance to spend so much for such a small amount of vinegar, and I suppose it is, but it's really worth it if you have acquired a taste for great balsamic. We use it regularly on salads, etc, and it still lasts about 4 months.

This one will give an idea of what very god aged balsamic vinegar tastes like without having to take out a loan. A good QPR. And the little bottle lasts longer than one would think.
