This is hands down, better than any cocoa on the market. I am a baker and I have used this cacao in place of cocoa in a lot of recipes and everytime the results are outstanding. It is very smooth and mild with no bitter after taste. Go taste your cocoa and see what I mean. Bitter right? Not this stuff. Sweet and mild right out of the pouch. I make buttercream icing with this and it is the best I have ever tasted. Everytime I make my Mom's Chocolate Sheetcake someone asks for the recipe and that didn't happen when I was using regular cocoa. It also makes the most amazing hot chocolate you have ever tasted. It is like someone melted smooth, mild chocolate into a mug and added a little milk. Superb!

Unsweetened, pure cacao powder is very different from what you are used to. I add a tablespoon of this to my protein shakes and it's a chocolate explosion! At first I was adding a packet of Stevia but stopped doing that after a couple of weeks as I felt it wasn't necessary. Very pure, very beneficial to your health.

Let me first say that this does not make the best hot cocoa. It will not stay suspended in the milk at all and leaves you with an extremely bitter drink towards the end, even if you continuously stir it. With that aside, I don't know if it is the antioxidants, the magnesium, or the caffeine/theobromine that is naturally in cacao, but something in this gives me so much energy and makes me feel wonderful. I am notoriously not a morning person. I regularly wake up 30 minutes before work and rush out the door. But, when I drink this the night before, I am wide awake in the morning. It is like coffee on steroids and it lasts for half a day. I should also say that this does not seem to interrupt my sleep too much. Overall this is an excellent product and I will continue to use it as long as I see to adverse reactions.

Cornucopia Fruit Wine Making Kit, White Green Apple Pinot Bianco, 17.5-Pound Box

This was my first try with this brand for green apple and it came out fine. We added about 3 pounds of corn sugar to bump the alcohol up a little. We have also tried other flavors of the cornucopia brand and they have all come out great, plus you cant beat the price.....winer from ohio

This was my first try with a kit, as I normally do smaller fresh fruit wine batches. Was a little concerned about making 5 gallons at first, but since it is bottled I don't think I'll have a big problem with finding a good use for this wine. Like others, I cut the quantity to 5 gals and upped the sugar content prior to fermentation to reach 13%apv. I also added part of the flavor pack prior to fermenting. Finished product is not too sweet, with a good apple taste, and has a serious alcohol kick. Much better than what I made from scratch last fall with fresh apples. Overall I like the wine, and the corks, seals, labels, and free shipping makes this a great deal. I will try other kits.

The is a great refreshing wine at a fraction of the cost at the local wine kit store. Contains corks and shrink wraps. We have tried several of these kits and been happy thus far!

Champagne Cheese Assortment in Gift Box (2 pound) by igourmet

I bought this as a gift for a co-worker, and she told me her family enjoyed the cheese a lot. That said, I was disappointed with this as a gift, as the box was much smaller than I expected and the unattractive, very loose ribbon made a weak presentation. (I couldn't re-tie the ribbon or even remove it, since it was attached with a sticker to the box and would have ended up tearing the box.) Overall, I won't be buying this as a gift again better to find a great local cheese shop and wrap everything properly.

Tamanoi Sushinoko - Sushi Rice Mix Powder - Sushi Vinegared Powder - 2.64 Oz

This product was excellant for making sushi rice quickly. No mixing water,vinegar and sugar to get the right flavor. You just mix it into the hot rice. The only drawback was that the instructions on the package were in Japanesse only. I was able to get more information about what amounts to add to the rice from the Amazon website.

I have tried several other brands but I really like this one. First, the taste is right. Not too sweet, not too sour. Second, the powder formula makes for stickier rice. Some of the liquid brands make the rice balls for nigiri fall apart. The bad thing is that if you get some up your nose, it stings and makes your eyes water. (I realize that a typical person does not generally inhale sushinoko intentionally, but it is hard to avoid when you open the packet and sprinkle it on rice!) I see that it says to use the whole packet for 4 cups of riceI think this measurement is for uncooked rice. You can season to taste, which is what I did the first couple times, but I find that it has a strong flavor when the rice is hot and it gets a lot weaker after it cools, so it was kind of bland unless I followed the directions.

Sometimes when I am really lazy, I just make minute rice and put some of this on instead of bouillon, salt, soy, or other flavoring. Weird? Maybe. But delicious.

It is a great product and make the rice taste delicious. It is a little expensive but it is very hard to find in the US.

This is about the best and easiest thing you can buy to get perfect tasting sushi rice when you make homemade sushi! It is so amazing (i actually didnt think it would be, but haha jokes on me:P) and I was so (happily) shocked when I tasted the rice after mixing it in, and finding it tasted just as good as real sushi, Maybe better, since I made the rice myself! I wish the price could be lower, but the quality can't be beat for this real made-in-Japan mix!

But now it is gone, and there is no Asian market near me, so I use this recipe: 1 TBPS Apple-cider vinegar (should be rice-vin, but odnt have any, and it works in a pinch!), 1 TBSP Sugar, and 1 Tsp Salt. Stir these over heat until dissolved, then mix into cooked warm rice. Tastes almost good!
