Everyone's tastes are obviously different, but I think this does a nice job of having a tasty BBQ Cajun spice. The rub flavor is both balanced and flavorful without anything that is too overpowering. I personally enjoy more spice, but I can easily add spices to suit what I want. I've only used this a dry rub for chicken but overall I am pretty happy with it. I enjoy trying different rubs, recipes, etc. so I don't know if I'll buy it again, but I am definitely glad I picked it up.
