Cornucopia Fruit Wine Kit, Red Black Cherry Merlot, 16.4-Pound Box

Loved this wine. Most others that i make are on the lighter side, more for that womens touch. My husband and friends never quite got use to that. After making this though, they keep coming back for more. Very full flavored and body. I used a 6 gallon jug and only filled it to the top, which made this a little more of a strong taste. Will have to make this one over and over again. 5 stars from me on this one.

Out of all the wine I have made with my sister. This is my parents favorite. Of course we like it too...Have to sign up for subscribe and save to keep mom and dad happy..It is sweet, but not overly so and it has a good flavor. I do have a six gallon carboy so luckily fitting in the extra juice was not an issue

I think this wine turned out very well. It is somewhat sweet, but not too sweet.

I am giving 4 out of 5 because you will need to make sure you have a carboy that can hold at least 7 1/2 to 8 gallons of liquid. There is a cherry mix you add in, which is at least another gallon or gallon and a half (they don't specify in the instructions). You will also still have to be able to add in the stabilizing agents and have enough room to be able to stir everything without the displaced wine overflowing out of the carboy.

Other than that minor setback, this kit is very good.

Not as good as their other wines. The flavor on this one was sub par. I do recommend some of the other Cornucopia wine kits, just not this one.

I have been making wine for 17 years. I have never made a wine I did not like until now. This is a most nasty tasting wine. Dont waste your time or money.

The cheese is good quality, and the packaging so good that I was able to carry it in a moving van from Seattle to Durham, NC with no problems, I'll order again. If you're a smoked-gouda fan, remember that every brand that's "real" tastes slightly different, and this is a tad bit sharp, but I prefer sharp to too mild.

Coastal White (White Burgundy Style) (Vintner's Reserve)

Winexpert makes wine kits in several price ranges, the Eclipse and Selection International series being more expensive, the Vintner's Reserve kits being more reasonable. The latter are generally in the $60 range, which means, that since the kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles, each bottle costs approximately two dollars. Over the past six years I've made Winexpert kits from the different series, and while the more expensive kits produce the best wine (as one would hope), even their more reasonably-priced kits are excellent.

This is certainly true of the Coastal White, which is in the Vintner's Reserve series and which I made a couple years ago. This wine is a close match to a white burgundy. It is one of the drier whites available and is extremely light in color. Despite its dryness, it does have certain fruity overtones, which come to the fore particularly as the wine ages. (Like most whites, the Coastal White can be drunk within a couple months of bottling, but it continues to develop for six months to a year.)

Like all wine kits from Winexpert, the Coastal White comes with clear, explicit instructions. The time from initial mixing to bottling is 6 weeks. I have found that a typical wine kit takes a total of about three to four hours of my time.

Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar

This is THE very best balsamic vinegar ever . . . as other reviewer stated it is a bit sweet but it is not the dominant flavor. This is not a watery vinegar -rather it is thick so I don't even use oil for dressings. Great price, too.

Actually, I don't like it all that much, but my wife, my neighbors and my friends all LOVE IT! I made it as a 5 gallon batch. It was ready to bottle fairly quick. My complaint is that it is too sweet and not enough alcohol. On this second attempt I shall again make it a 5 gallon batch, but may fortify it with some vodka or brandy to cut the sweetness a bit and give it a little punch.

Always a favorite in the summer months. I've made four of these kits and they never seem to last very long. The kit itself has corks, shrink tops and labels. I'm a red wine drinker but my wife and her friends love this wine.
