Sutter Home, Wine Fre Merlot, 25.36 OZ (Pack of 6)

Sutter Home, Wine Fre Merlot, 25.36 OZThis alcohol-removed wine is really good. Even my family members able to drink are impressed with the body. The care and quality put into the product is what makes people want to continue using it. It is something which we will definetly continue using.

As the title says, this "Fre Merlot" tastes like watered-down grape juice with a splash of balsamic vinegar in it.

So, you could probably make something similar-tasting yourself by doing exactly that in your own kitchen, and save some $.

I saw a TV show about how they make this wine and it was very amazing!! I soon hope to use it in my cooking and see how well it works in food.

I bought a bottle of this at my local liquor store and just cracked it open. I was surprised to see that it had an actual cork in it and required a bottle opener. I thought that was a good sign, but no. I have tasted their champagne and chardonnay so far and both of those were good. But I'll never buy this Merlot again. It really tastes like watered-down grape juice.

I still have the "white wine" to sample, but so far this one gets crossed of the shopping list.

Brix Bar, Extra Dark Chocolate, 8-Ounce Packages (Pack of 2)

Brix Bar, Extra Dark Chocolate, 8-Ounce PackagesWe received this as a Christmas gift and we enjoyed this chocolate immensely. We then decided to search for it and found Amazon sold it. We found this chocolate to be very smooth and rich. We are also fans of Vosge and Ritter Sport chocolate so if you also like those two brands you'll most likely find the Brix chocolate to your liking. It really does come in a brick and we use a rubber mallet and screw driver to break into it. I realize there are many ways to do this but we find this way works well for us.

Partners All Natural Traditional Crackers, 4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Partners All Natural Traditional Crackers, 4-Ounce BoxesI took a chance on these since they seemed more healthful than typical crackers and they looked enticing on the photo. Was I ever disappointed. They are horrible! Flavorless, dry and brittle no redeeming qualities at all. Trust me and save your money.

These are fantastic, if you're looking for a flat bread style cracker that won't overpower whatever dips, compotes, and cheeses you're serving alongside them. I stumbled across these as I was searching for something comparable to the tuscan crackers from whole foods. These are flatter, but gave me the exact same flavor profile. I really like them, and they remind me of naan in a cracker or perhaps a flour tortilla cracker. A small package retails for $4.99 at my local grocery, so I was happy to find them here for much less. Perfect for large parties!

They aren't covered in SALT and BUTTER, so if you're looking for a salty, buttery cracker stick with Ritz or Club crackers.

Diamanti Specialty Wine Kit Red Port Style Dark Chocolate Orange, 13.5-Pound Box

Diamanti Specialty Wine Kit Red Port Style Dark Chocolate Orange, 13.5-Pound BoxThis dark chocolate orange flavored port kit is excellent. Equal to the (more expensive) RJ Spagnols kit of the same flavor. Smooth and drinkable without a very long aging process. There seems to be some confusion in the reviews for these Diamanti port kits as to the final volume... port kits are always 3 gallons/11L. I was able to bottle six 375ml half bottles and twelve 750ml full bottles.

it worked out nice, smell and tast as good as higher price kits get back when i bottle.

i think it will be a good port

This kit came with easy to follow instructions. I did 2 kits to make 6 gallons since this will be a Christmas gift for friends and family. I added Brandy and Grand Marnier to increase the alcohol content and used red wine instead of water to bring it up to the full 6 gallons to avoid a thin port. I did open a bottle to try it just to get an idea of how it will taste and it was very good. It has already started to mellow out with a full rich flavor. I can taste the orange but my boyfriend picks up on the chocolate more. Looking forward to Christmas and sharing with everyone.

I made a double batch and with both yeast packets, it went really dry in one week (0.995). Which was a little fast. But in the next 3 weeks it mellowed out nicely and tasted really good on bottling day which was about 4 weeks. The orange is barely discernible. This cheaper port compares favorably to the more expensive port kit I made a couple years ago.

There was supposed be 3 gallons of juice included with the kit. What I got was well short of that (prob 2.6 to 2.75 gal).
