The Spice Hunter Winter Sippers Mulling Spices Tin, 4 Ounce

The Spice Hunter Winter Sippers Mulling Spices Tin, 4 OunceI use this not only for mulling cider and wine, but also for making chai. It is really great.

I simmer it with black tea and a bit of extra fresh ginger and then add warm, sweetened milk, and voi la, great chai.

Red Star Cte des Blancs

Red Star Cte des BlancsI purchased this so I would have the proper yeast for making wine. Since it was my first try I wanted to do it right. The yeast activated my wine perfectly. I will be using this in my next wine making days.

Gruyere - Pound Cut (1 pound) by igourmet

Gruyere - Pound Cut by igourmetIf you like cheese and I'm not talking about the kind you mindlessly slap on a hamburger or sprinkle over a side dish at the salad bar you'll love Gruyere.

My wife, who is Swiss, introduced me to Gruyere cheese via fondue (where it's traditionally encountered) when we were living in Europe. But when we had some left over one weekend, I tried a slice of it with a green apple ... and the rest is history. I simply fell in love with it.

Gruyere is a gourmet cheese and it's price reflects that fact. So be careful, it's expensive ... and not for the obsessive calorie counter. But if your pallet is discriminating and you enjoy fine, quality foods, then indulge yourself. You won't regret anything except the fact that you didn't buy more!

PS: Have a good white wine ready if you plan to make fondue, or a good red wine ready if you have a slice with some fruit! Bon Apetite!

Red Star Premier Cuvee

Red Star Premier Cuveeim just starting to make wine and dont really have much knowledge about whats good and whats not, however i am very happy with what this yeast produced and i cant wait for it to age a bit to get some nice esters in the wine

I bought this on the recommendation of a bartender that brews his own ginger beer. The package contained enough for over 2 cases of it, and it worked beautifully.

Bremner Wafers, Original Plain, 4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

Bremner Wafers, Original Plain, 4-Ounce BoxesThese crackers are a wonderful compliment to wine and cheese. Subtle flavor enhances, doesn't overpower, the main course. I also love them if I'm not feeling well and need something subtle but filling to soothe my stomach. Unbeatable price here.

We love these crackers, and are hard to find in grocery stores. So I was delighted to find them available here, but so disappointed when we discovered they were all stale.

I love Bremner Wafers, but the crackers in these boxes are stale and rancid tasting. Unfortunately I didn't open the first box until it was too late to return them. I had checked the sell by date when they arrived last month, and they are supposed to be OK until September of this year, BUT they aren't. Very, very disappointing.

What else but not broken is a good review. Items are fresh and all in one pieces. Have to hid the boxes to keep the family from eating them the first week.

Funny you should ask!...We've been purchasing Bremners from Amazon.com

for several years, but the last two shipments that arrived contained an unusually

large percentage of broken crackers. My wife is trying to convince me that if this

is going to be the case from now on we are going to resort to purchasing them in

the local store.

Maitre Jacques Vinegar, Fr. Tarsprig, 16.90-Ounce (Pack of 6)

Maitre Jacques Vinegar, Fr. Tarsprig, 16.90-OunceAdds great flavor to any dish where vinegar is used. My local store does not carry it anymore. I decided to get it here because it is so much more enjoyable than the brands in my local store. The product was shipped in a way that there was no possibility of breakage.
