Walters Homemade Honey Almond Nougat, 2-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

My husband and I first tasted this candy in Canada. We bought it from a gift shop in Butchart Gardens and made a mistake for not buying the bigger box. When we returned to our hotel, we ate this candy was in heaven! I just loved this nougat with almonds confection that we desperately searched as many stores when we got to Seattle. But to our disappointment, found none.

So imagine my delight when I found this candy online at Amazon!! Thank you Amazon, hope you keep this in stock!

A product of South Africa, this is a great very light product, so light in fact it's almost soft meringue meets nougat. The almonds were fresh and their flavor came through delicately.

The packages are on the small side, each bar is like a deck of cards split length wise. Which makes the price per unit rather high, but the quality is there to justify it.

I love nougat candy. It was always a special holiday treat on Italian holidays. This is gluten free, which is necessary in our household, and the quality was very good.

I was craving some Greek Mandolato Zakinthou which I haven't found in the U.S. So I thought I'd try a few brands of nougat sold here. This one was very good. It wasn't the same but it came close enough so that I would order it again when I get another craving. It was very fresh and tasty.

Bought this as office holiday presents, and it was very well received. This nougat is very fresh, soft, tasty. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Has a wonderful texture. I sent some to my mother in law and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends.

This was the first All-Juice kit that I purchased from this company. The packaged arrived quickly, although the lid for the primary bucket had a lot of dirt on it, The instructions were quite clear and the Customer service line actually worked. From start to bottling this kit took 7 weeks. It is a 6 gallon kit with having to add water after the 3rd stage of adding the finning and stabalizing agents. I personally elected to not add any water and go with 5 gallons instead for a fuller quality. Had I had a filtration system of some sort, I might have been able to get an additional 1/2 gallon with little or no sediment. At bottling, the product smelled like apples, with a little smokey smell to it. I added enough sugar to bring it to a semi dry taste and it is now aging in bottles. I was able to get 21 750ml bottles and 1 375ml bottle and one full glass at bottling. So far I am very impressed. This should keep for about two years since I added a pinch of Metabisulphite powder to the mix at the end. I will add another review around 6 months to check its progress. I would recommend this product to anyone.
