Rougie Terrine du Periogord with 20% Duck Foie Gras Product of Canada 80 gram 2.80 oz, Sixhttp://www.amazoncruelty.com

With all respect, I implore you to use your own judgement and conscious when buying this product, but please understand what it is.

These animals have been force fed by sticking metal tubes down their throats until their livers become 10 times their normal size. They frequently have gashes all over their beaks and throats. The ducks are so frightened of humans that even the few that have been rescued will never let a human touch them again.

Please don't be allow these companies to hide the facts from you, and the facts are unsettling, to say the least. Use your own judgement, but please don't be blind.

Disgusting and cruel. Do not buy this, please. These poor animals are tortured their whole life by being force fed through tubes for the sake of a "good meal"! Please have a heart and do not contribute to this industry. It is barbaric. Learn more and sign a petition here: http://amazoncruelty.com/#petition

If you love Rougie products and have not sampled this terrine, do not hesitate to purchase this item. I was actually searching for Rougie Countryside Pate w/green peppercorns when instead I came a ross this terrine. Excellent flavor and a rougher texture than fois gras mousse. I much precer the this texture to the creamier pate versions.

Sutter Home, Wine Fre Merlot, 25.36 OZ (Pack of 6)

Sutter Home, Wine Fre Merlot, 25.36 OZThis alcohol-removed wine is really good. Even my family members able to drink are impressed with the body. The care and quality put into the product is what makes people want to continue using it. It is something which we will definetly continue using.

As the title says, this "Fre Merlot" tastes like watered-down grape juice with a splash of balsamic vinegar in it.

So, you could probably make something similar-tasting yourself by doing exactly that in your own kitchen, and save some $.

I saw a TV show about how they make this wine and it was very amazing!! I soon hope to use it in my cooking and see how well it works in food.

I bought a bottle of this at my local liquor store and just cracked it open. I was surprised to see that it had an actual cork in it and required a bottle opener. I thought that was a good sign, but no. I have tasted their champagne and chardonnay so far and both of those were good. But I'll never buy this Merlot again. It really tastes like watered-down grape juice.

I still have the "white wine" to sample, but so far this one gets crossed of the shopping list.

Roland Fancy Grained Mustard With White Wine

Roland Fancy Grained Mustard With White WineI have been using Roland mustard for years. Their grained mustard with white wine is the best. Not too strong but gives the food a great flavor. I have tried using other products but they do not measure up to Roland products. Give it a try, you might like it.

Gavottes Crepe Dentelle Cookies - 200 gr decorative tin

Gavottes Crepe Dentelle Cookies - 200 gr decorative tinRecently tried some of these at a friends Christmas party... these aren't cookies. These are addictive little pieces of chocolate covered heaven.... or "cookie Crack". You can not have just one...here I am days later looking on Amazon just to find my next fix!

Our friends from Brittany, France sent these to us so we could have a taste of France. We received a box with a combination of plain and chocolate covered crepes. They are deceptively plain-looking, but you bite into thin, golden flaky crepes rolled thinly into a couple inches of delicate, buttery, crunchy goodness! They are so wonderful and ours are all gone, so I came here looking for more. I'm so happy to find them! The chocolate-covered are delicious too, but my favorite are the plain. They are fantastic with coffee or with ice cream. Try them!

I was so excited to find these cookies available in the US-and for a very reasonable price. I purchased this exact tin in Brittany about 6 years ago from a little local shop, so I know these are authentic! When I opened the package and had my first bite, I was transported back to that blustery summer by the coast. The gavottes are crisp and fresh, were not broken up by the journey, and were just perfect. I will order these again the next time I need a taste of Bretagne!

Brix Bar, Medium Dark Chocolate, 8-Ounce Packages (Pack of 2)

Brix Bar, Medium Dark Chocolate, 8-Ounce PackagesWhat a great excuse to bolster your anti-oxidant intake! I was given a block of Brix last year with a bottle of Shiraz, wow what a pairing! Believe it or not, the wine somehow tastes better with this chocolate. The product itself isn't too sweet or creamy but at the same time it isn't bitter. We've tried the extra-dark version of Brix and it went well with the deeper red wines, like a big cab. Great price, thanks Amazon!

The BRIX Chocolate bar was a hit at our Super bowl party. I put the bar on a cutting board (at first with a knife then changed to an ice pick which worked perfectly) and near the wines. Every single person there had to try at least one piece of it. It was such a unique party fun food. As soon as the first guest spotted it, no one left it alone until it was gone. My guests agreed that BRIX was so much fun especially with a good glass of wine.

Tamanoi Sushinoko - Sushi Rice Mix Powder - Sushi Vinegared Powder - 2.64 Oz

Tamanoi Sushinoko - Sushi Rice Mix Powder - Sushi Vinegared Powder - 2.64 OzThis product was excellant for making sushi rice quickly. No mixing water, vinegar and sugar to get the right flavor. You just mix it into the hot rice. The only drawback was that the instructions on the package were in Japanesse only. I was able to get more information about what amounts to add to the rice from the Amazon website.

I have tried several other brands but I really like this one. First, the taste is right. Not too sweet, not too sour. Second, the powder formula makes for stickier rice. Some of the liquid brands make the rice balls for nigiri fall apart. The bad thing is that if you get some up your nose, it stings and makes your eyes water. (I realize that a typical person does not generally inhale sushinoko intentionally, but it is hard to avoid when you open the packet and sprinkle it on rice!) I see that it says to use the whole packet for 4 cups of riceI think this measurement is for uncooked rice. You can season to taste, which is what I did the first couple times, but I find that it has a strong flavor when the rice is hot and it gets a lot weaker after it cools, so it was kind of bland unless I followed the directions.

Sometimes when I am really lazy, I just make minute rice and put some of this on instead of bouillon, salt, soy, or other flavoring. Weird? Maybe. But delicious.

It is a great product and make the rice taste delicious. It is a little expensive but it is very hard to find in the US.

This is about the best and easiest thing you can buy to get perfect tasting sushi rice when you make homemade sushi! It is so amazing (i actually didnt think it would be, but haha jokes on me:P) and I was so (happily) shocked when I tasted the rice after mixing it in, and finding it tasted just as good as real sushi, Maybe better, since I made the rice myself! I wish the price could be lower, but the quality can't be beat for this real made-in-Japan mix!

But now it is gone, and there is no Asian market near me, so I use this recipe: 1 TBPS Apple-cider vinegar (should be rice-vin, but odnt have any, and it works in a pinch!), 1 TBSP Sugar, and 1 Tsp Salt. Stir these over heat until dissolved, then mix into cooked warm rice. Tastes almost good!
