Wild Strawberry Jam Andresy All natural French jam pure sugar cane 9 oz jar Confitures a l'Ancienne

Wild Strawberry Jam Andresy All natural French jam pure sugar cane 9 oz jar Confitures a l'Ancienne, OneI had this jam years ago in Paris and it is still the best strawberry jam I have ever eaten.

I was looking for real flavour of the wild strawberry. Unfortunately this is not it. Tasters kind of strawberry ,but no wild strawberry and is so sweet the berry flavour is entirely hidden behind the sugar.

If you have been to France and had their Wild Strawberry jam and know how amazing it is-this product might disappoint. It is still a decent product, but I have found better in Dean and DeLuca (granted that jam was $17). For the price of this product, I probably wouldn't purchase it again, maybe if the price was lowered.

Hawaii Roasters Award Winning Farm Roasted 100% Kona Coffee, Ground, Medium Roast, 14-Ounce Bag

Hawaii Roasters Award Winning Farm Roasted 100% Kona Coffee, Ground, Medium Roast, 14-Ounce BagSpent $29 for real kona coffee and didn't want the kona blend sold here. The Hawaiian roasters was disappointing. Tasted nothing like the kona we had everyday while honeymooning in Maui. Not good

I have tried a few kona coffees from different vendors, and I can say that this one is a very special coffee. I made an order last year and had some issues with one of the two bags I've bought. The coffee lost it's freshness in the 2nd bag and it was very old, dry and tasteless. I was very disappointed by how the same coffee could taste so different in each bag. I wasn't sure what was the problem, cause the 1st bag tasted very pleasant and aromatic. The freshness, texture and delicacy of the coffee took me to nirvana. I was very pleased with the organic taste and smoothness of the coffee. Immediately I knew that this was a very special gourmet coffee.

I've tried different regional coffees including, papa new guinea, Kenya AA, Sumatra beans, Jamaican blue mountain ... and others. I have to say that Kona is my favorite by far. The shipping bag comes oxygen free when it's being shipped from the vendor. The air is sucked dry to vacuum seal it. Sometimes they get damaged or punctured during shipping. I guess that's what happened to one of the bags. As you know, coffee and oxygen don't go well together, cause once the coffee is oxidized; it starts losing its freshness and it doesn't taste the way it's supposed to taste.

I've made a recent purchase again and I'm very happy with the results. Give this coffee a try before deciding to make a bulk shipment. You have got nothing to lose. Well done Hawaii Roasters. You guys have outdone yourselves.

I enjoyed my 1st cup very much. The aroma was heady and the flavor was pleasantly mild. But, ultimately, it is too mild for my daily morning "kick". I'll be going back to my Lavazza mornings when this is gone.

Warning: once you get spoiled by this coffee, you might not ever settle for less!

Bottom line: great product, would recommend to a friend.

Coffee Carte Noire Authentic Imported French Gourmet Coffee 250 g (8.8 oz)

Coffee Carte Noire Authentic Imported French Gourmet Coffee 250 g, ThreeNot knowing this was a Kraft Foods brand, we bought this in Paris and brought it home to the US. It is one of the best whole bean coffees we have ever had. I just wish our local stores sold it.

Not too bitter, with a very complete taste. I like more flavorful, and he likes bitter we both loved this coffee. Highly recommended.

Came across this coffee in a hotel in Kazakhstan during a business visit. Really enjoyed it ,but it is not available in Australia to the consumer. Found it on Amazon, and now have it every morning. If you like coffee with real "guts" and a bit of flavour but none of that bitterness, this is the one.

We have tried many coffees and a number of home coffee makers but have been unable to brew anything to match the quality of the coffees we enjoy in our favorite restaurants. But this morning we tried the Carte Noire given us as a Christmas gift. What a delightful surprise. It has that "blackness" that we associate with good coffee but none of the bitterness. It is unquestionably the best coffee we have ever made at home. And with a small addition of Irish Creme syrup (another Christmas present), it was simply quite wonderful.

I haven't ordered this from Amazon, but can certainly vouch that this coffee is without a doubt the best! It is a pity that it should be so pricey online while you can get a three pack in a regular supermarket in France for less that 10 euros. Quite shameful, really...

I found Carte Noire in France in 1993 and started bringing packages back with me three or four times each year. What captured my attention so firmly? What makes this coffee so great?

It is unusual simply because: (1) It is 100% Arabica; (2) It is 100% Colombian. (3) It is roasted by the French. There is only one other coffee with this particular rare pedigree, and it is good, but not quite as good as Carte Noire. Amazon's ad terminology calls this an after dinner coffee. I disagree with them. We have always used it exclusively in the morning, as do the Europeans who value its rich taste.

This coffee is bold but not overpowering. It avoids giving you a thin or a bitter coffee taste. One package of 250 grams (very finely ground) will last for exactly five days when brewed in a 12-cup pot. My coffee philosophy is this: If you're going to drink coffee, buy and drink the best one you can find anywhere. This is it. I wouldn't lie about something this important.

Banyuls Wine Vinegar - Imported From France, 16.9-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

Banyuls Wine Vinegar - Imported From France, 16.9-Ounce BottlesI've been trying to find a source for this since having it in a chicken sauce at TRU restaurant in Chicago. None of my local stores seem to even know what it is. For those of you wondering, the nearest thing I can use as a comparison is the French answer to balsamic.

Goya Cooking Wine

Goya Cooking Wine
  • Goya, Cooking Wine White, 25.4 OZ (Pack of 12)

I can't believe that I let Food Channel type propaganda keep me from using cooking wine for so long. According to the foodie agitprop you should only use a wine you would like to drink in your cooking. Sounds reasonable, right?? Wrong! In fact most wine of the more delicate sort rolls right off meats like water off a duck's back. It doesn't soak in, thus it gives no flavor, and often complicates other matters by adding liquid just sitting the bottom of the pan. Cooking wine is made to soak in. Yes, there is some salt in it, but not much. It's real quality is the ability to get into the fleish and change the flavor and temper the fattiness, certainly a good thing in all cooking. This Goya brand is particularly good. It makes everything taste more rounded-out in flavors. I can imagine that in very rarefied circumstances a fine wine would augment a dish, but I really doubt it in most cooking. I think the food mavens' doctrines against the everyday cook's ability to make food taste really fine is a bit of petty snobbery with no sense. And this in a day and age when top chefs are sticking stuff like mayonnaise in their preciosities. Quite ironic.

Buy Goya Cooking Wine Now

I loved this wine!

First of all, I like the fact I got plastic bottles instead of glass. I'm clumsy and that's always comforting.

Secondly, it's the SAME thing you're gonna find in any cooking wine. I usually buy a 16oz bottle of white cooking wine from my local grocery store which is almost six dollars. This is a bigger bottle, same product, same great taste! What more could you want?

P.S: Being that it's GOYA, I love the Spanish labels. It makes it easier at home with my familia. Cuz you know they'll prolly be wanting to drink the wine instead of cooking it. Lol, jk.

Walters Homemade Honey Almond Nougat, 4-Ounce Packages (Pack of 4)

Walters Homemade Honey Almond Nougat, 4-Ounce PackagesI've bought this nougat in England and brought it home, so was delighted to find I could buy it here. The nougat is delicious -not too sweet and very tasty! And it was fresh and soft when it arrived, and well packed by the shipper.

Bought this as holiday presents, and it was very well received. This nougat is very fresh, soft, tasty. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Has a wonderful texture. I sent some to my mother in law and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends.

Francine · Buckwheat crepes mix · 440g - 15.5 ozI tried this product with a girl from Brittany, Bretagne, where the galettes are from.

We made them and they were very good also for her standards ....

So positive feedback. The Handling & Shipping is a little expensive, almost like the

cost of the products,... and if you buy 2 the shipping and handling multiplies by 2 ....

hmmm.

Vinaigre de Banyuls Aged Vinegar 375 ML

Vinaigre de Banyuls Aged Vinegar 375 MLI dislike vinegar in general but love the vinaigrettes my wife makes with this lovely light, brand. I have re-ordered it several times and it makes a thoughtful host/hostess gift instead of the uninspired bottle of wine!
