Green Tea Mochi with Red Bean -Green Tea Rice Cake (Mochi) 360g Bonus Pack

Green Tea Mochi with Red Bean -Green Tea Rice Cake 360g Bonus PackThe Green tea mochi were very fresh soft and chewy (as they should be) perfect with white tea! Each in individual wrapping which makes them easy to take to work! A little cell phone charm that came with the package is of quite good quality, and was a nice touch.

Clay Company Set of 4 Gourmet Salts

Clay Company Set of 4 Gourmet SaltsPerfect variety of flavored/local sea salts to add as finish touches to your special gourmet foods. Each has a special different character and taste. Would like larger sized multi flavor packs for more opportunities to use and try in different dishes.

I'm really enjoying these salts. Each kind comes in a small bag that's resealable (at least until the glue dries out), though if you don't close them just right you won't be able to close the lid again. A word of warning: these salts are STRONG. Use sparingly!

I like trying gourmet salts and this seemed a very reasonable price for 2 oz each of 4 salts, although one of them was regular "Pacific" sea salt so you only get to try 3 new ones. Save the Hawaiian coral salt for dishes where the color will show up, the flavor isn't noticeably different from regular salt. I love the subtle flavor nuances of grey salt, and this "Brittany Gray" is a nice one. Suitable for light-flavored dishes like eggs and many vegetables, but would be wasted in strong-flavored dishes. I have fallen in love with smoked salts, and the lovely aroma of this "Alder Smoked" salt permeated the other salts and my whole kitchen. The salts are packaged in little plastic bags that are somewhat resealable, but the seal loses its stickiness quickly so you will probably want to put the leftover salt in a different container. This would be a nice, inexpensive hostess or party gift to someone who enjoys cooking. If the 4th salt had been another flavored salt rather than plain sea salt, I would happily have awarded this 5 stars.

Purchased these for my Foody brother-in-law. He has been experimenting with them and thinks they are great. The salts do have distinct flavors. We also purchased the Clay Company 4 peppers, also excellent. If we did it again we'd probably look for grinders as it is inconvenient to switch out the peppers or salts when you want to use a particular one or want to mix a few of the peppers or a few of the salts.

I sent this as a gift to my friend that likes to cook. He loved it. It arrived on time, and is very reasonably priced. Clay Company is a small family owned company (I have learned) and I like to support the few small businesses we have left in the USA.

Dijon Mustard Fallot authentic imported jar traditional mustard 7 oz jar

Dijon Mustard Fallot authentic imported jar traditional mustard 7 oz jar, OneFallot is one of the top five usually available. If you cannot find locally, this is the best buy on Amazon. It is fine in flavor and properly strong. Shipping is expensive, but stale on the store shelf is 100% waste.

Fallot is one of the top tier because of several factors:

It is an independent mill in Burgundy.

They source their particular strains of Brassica seeds carefully.

They use verjuice instead of other liquids.

The three pack is a better deal. But, unless you use a lot of this mustard and fairly regularly, big is false economy. Do not get a 13.5 oz jar if it takes you six months to use. It will go first flat and then in another six months completely dead. So stick with 7 0z. unless you really need it.

Dijon is time, heat and light sensitive. If you buy the three pack, keep all in the refirgerator.

Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar (8 ounce)

Cabot Seriously Sharp CheddarHiding in every bite of CABOT's Seriously Sharp white and yellow cheddars is a kick that sharp cheese lovers crave. Their smoothness can fool you initially. These have a profoundly rich and ineffable flavor that absolutely explodes on the taste buds and leaves you wanting more.

Serving suggestion is simplicity itself. Cut a thick slice off the 8 oz. block, nibble slowly, savor, enjoy. Try to resist another chunk. Things this wonderful need to be partaken of in small quantities. (There's always tomorrow!)

Only très cher cheddars that are aged for years can equal the marvelous flavor of CABOT's. None are better, though.

Highest possible recommendation!

I love this cheese. I eat a lot of cheese and so far in my life this is my favorite cheddar. It is sharp, with a flavor much more complex than any other I can remember having. I used to be able to get it at the WalMart, but they don't seem to be carrying it anymore. I am used to buying a large loaf, 2 lbs. This offering is too small for my taste, but I may order it anyway when it is available, just in multiples.

Brewer's Best Brewing Herbs and Spices - Paradise Seeds

Brewer's Best Brewing Herbs and Spices - Paradise SeedsI don't mind doing the review, but I just want to rate it without writing a book why, The rating should be enough, any further information should be totally voluntary.

This pouch only contains 2 grams of seeds, less than a teaspoon. It is my fault for not reading the product info more carefully (though the shipping weight made it look like more and the only place I could find the actual product weight was by enlarging the blurry product picture), but I wanted to be sure other people didn't make the same mistake. Order a different package of grains of paradise for a better value. As for the seeds themsellves, they arrived when promised and seemed to taste fine.

Australian Cabernet Shiraz (Selection International)

Australian Cabernet ShirazWines made with a blend of two or more grapes are always a little tricky to get just right. Thankfully, the Selection International Series from Winexpert wine kits is typically right on the mark. Its "Australian Cabernet Shiraz" is no exception. I've made 40 or more wines from wine kits over the past six years. This is one of the best. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent bottle of wine that would retail at several times the cost per bottle. (Since the wine kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles and the kit costs under $120, at approximately four dollars a bottle this is a real steal.)

The Selection International Series comes with easy-to-follow instructions. The five steps involved (which are done over a 6-8 week period) won't take more than three or four hours of your time altogether, and that includes sanitizing of the equipment and cleanup. Moreover, this series comes with easy-to-affix (and remove) labels, which is a plus in helping to keep track of your wine.

Roland Herring Fillets in Wine Sauce, 7-Ounce Can (Pack of 6)

Roland Herring Fillets in Wine Sauce, 7-Ounce CanHerring is herring and I expected it to be soft as it was. The real winner was the wine sauce and crisp onion. Placing it on a thin slice of Pumpernickel so the juices soaked in did much to place me in heaven and seeking more. I ate two cans at one setting before I could contain myself the first time. Note to self: Buy enough to satisfy these gluttony urges founded in gastronomic pleasures so you can save some for later. IT WAS SO GOOD, I BOUGHT A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION.
