Solid Milk Chocolate Breakup - 2 Lbs.

Solid Milk Chocolate Breakup - 2 Lbs.Lots of chocolate for your money, and much nicer than regular bars. The chocolate melts in your mouth and tastes delicious. It is easy to break into small sections, but not overly fragile.

Not sure how well this would hold up if shipped in summer I got mine in winter.

Valpolicella Style (Selection Original)

Valpolicella StyleThe "Valoplicella Style" Selection Original wine kit from Winexpert is a dry red wine with a light-medium body, medium oak intensity, and a delicate bouquet of red berries. This wine pairs well with pizza and other pasta dishes, and is also great as a sipping wine.

The kit comes with easy to follow directions and takes a minimal amount of time for each step. (The entire process from mixing through bottling shouldn't take a total of more than four hours over a 6-8 week period.) You should age this wine for six months before drinking it. Longer wouldn't hurt, since the wine will continue to develop for well over a year.

The kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles, which makes the per-bottle cost a real bargain.

10 Blooming Flower Tea - Xian Tao Kang Nai Xin

10 Blooming Flower Tea - Xian Tao Kang Nai XinGot this for my mother for Mother's Day, she loves it! They can be used multiple times and so are quite a bargain.

I feel like a scientest every time I put a bulb in the pot to steep. I bought these as a gift for my wife who is a tea fanatic and we can't get enough of this. It tastes great as well, even on a second pot with the same bulb. You should try it!

The fancy tea (blooming flowers) I received was very old and dried up, when I put the boiling water over the blooms they were so dry they fell apart into tons of little pieces and never bloomed, they just looked like blobs instead of the beautiful blooms I've had before from my local tea shop. Lesson learned.

Art of Appreciation Gift Baskets Tee Off Golfers Tote

Art of Appreciation Gift Baskets Tee Off Golfers ToteI bought this for my husband for Father's Day. My 3 year old son and I were looking at Amazon golf gift baskets, and we decided on this one. Upon arrival the bag all this came in was crushed. The bucket of golf balls is actually two big paperboard cut-outs that are stuck to the front and back of a regular gift bag with tape. I thought it was a bag designed to look like a pail of golf balls...no.

As for the items that came in this...not worth the $30. Some pasteurized cheddar cheese 'flavor', some Cajun mix, which I thought hubby would enjoy, but it was crushed, so it was more like Cajun crumbs. Some crackers, biscotti, sub-par coffee, and dry cookies. Overall, I say PASS. We were able to laugh about it and say 'It's the thought that counts!'...but really, this was just bad.

Ok on a day that it is raining and you cannot golf or don't want to open up this adorable little tote bag that has golf balls all over the outside and look at the great snacks and treats inside. Inside you will find crackers, candy, biscotti and lots of other delicious and surprsing treasures. If you know a friend or fellow golfer this makes a great gift for almost any occasion, as just because, birthday and with Fathers Day not that far away so stock up now and watch your friends love the item and remember who gave it to them and when all finished with the goodies they have the adorable shopping bag to remind them of your generosity. A definite winner in my opinion

Vintner's Reserve Shiraz 10L Wine Kit

Vintner's Reserve Shiraz 10L Wine Kit
  • Type:Red
  • Body:Medium
  • Sweetness:Dry
  • Medal Winner:2008 Gold Award
  • Food Pairings:Excellent with pepper steaks and london broils

Winexpert produces several different series of wine kits. Their Eclipse and Selection International series are their more expensive kits, while the Vintner's Reserve series are more reasonable. Nevertheless, all their kits are excellent. Although their more expensive series make the best wines (as one would hope), the wines in their Vintner's Reserve series are still great. The kits in this series are priced in the $60 range. Since each kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles, this works out to not much more than two dollars a bottle. That's a great bargain for a very good wine.

I made the Vintner's Reserve Shiraz some time ago. It's an excellent, full-bodied wine, with a spicy fruitiness that is pleasant to the taste. Although it begins to develop within three months of bottling, new overtones come out with further aging. I would suggest aging for as much as a year to allow the wine to develop fully.

Like all Winexpert kits, the Shiraz comes with easy-to-follow instructions. The process from initial mixing to bottling takes approximately six weeks. I find that the total time I spend producing wine from one of these kits is three to four hours. Making excellent wine doesn't need to be time-consuming.
