Marques De Grinon Extra Virgin Olive Oil From Spain , 16.9-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

Just like many of the best Italian olive oils come from top wine producers, Marques De Grinon EVOO comes from one of Spain's greatest wineries, Marques De Grinon, known for it's exceptional Cabernets and Syrahs from its estate in Castilla-La Mancha. This olive oil is quite complex and rich, more buttery and less bitter than typical Tuscan oils, but every bit as fresh and flavorful. I would put it as a worthy alternative to the Tuscan oils, particularly for dipping in bread, where it's softness makes it especially delectable. It's too expensive to be used for everyday cooking, but it can be drizzled on steaks and chops at the end to add aromatic and flavor nuance to grilled meats and vegetables. Really, this is a world class oil.

For those of you wondering why the 2-pack is much cheaper per oz. than the 3-pack, here is a possible reason (yes, you guessed it): the back label reads "Harvest Fall 2008/Released Spring 2009/ Best Before End Of April 2011". That being clarified, it's still a great olive oil, its charming tomato aroma still full and unclouded. But Amazon is less than honest in not providing this information as of August 2011, an unacceptable omission hence 3/5 stars, in order to draw attention to this issue. Amazon does not provide the harvest/best before dates for 3-pack or other packs either.

Badia Mojo Marinade Sauce 20 OZ

I had first tried that Goya Mojo. It was good, made a killer marinade, but it wasn't my thing. Then I tried this. This is the most amazing thing I have ever put into my mouth. It made every awesome dish I made godly. If you aren't one for tangy, salty or citrusy, yeah, I'd avoid it, but I LOVE all three and this is a perfect blend! The garlic they add isn't too overpowering either, so it makes this the perfect addition to any dish.

We used this for chicken marinades and grilling. Used three times with plenty left. Also great on pork. We didn't need anything else in the marinade due to the rich flavor.

AMELINE TRADITIONAL DIJON MUSTARD WITH WHITE WINE

I was fortunate enough to attend the 30th annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, CO this year (by way of volunteering) and the guys at the booth were handing out samples of this mustard and the whole grain version. Both of their mustards are definitely a worthwhile product with excellent flavor, texture and quality. On the salami they had, or on the cracker, the mustard stands out as much higher quality as compared to the normal brands most of us would purchase, it is worth its price, especially if you are able to get it with their discount code. I was given a sample of the Whole Grain mustard, I have yet to open it, but in the mean time I bought 2 more jars of it from Amazon with the coupon. I love a nice whole grain mustard and a good dijon mustard and I usually go to the cheap brnads you find at your every day supermarket, but after trying this at the classic I'm sold on getting a higher quality product that has more flavor and tastes like it is worth every penny over getting a cheap imitation. I went back many times for samples at the event because it is just so good! It blows all other mustards out of the water! THANK YOU for the sample and for the coupon code! You guys rock!

Was disappointed by this mustard. Since this disappointment I discovered Trader Joe's authentic French country mustard from Dijon. It is what the French put on meats unless you ask for something else. It is like nothing else and I have been trying to find this since my school days in Paris.
