I should have read the label on this: It is a spread, not jam. The flavor is acceptable, but I've been looking for a good rhubarb (not rhubarb-strawberry) jam since Bonne Maman stopped making theirs several years ago. I'm not rating my disappointment, though--even as a spread I thought this was average. I've also tried Andresy's rose jan (3 stars) and fig jam (4 stars).
Like the previous reviewer, I was amazed that you would get two complete wine kits in one package with corks, labels and chemicals. I did have a bit of a problem however because the bags were not clearly labeled. I contacted the maker and they were extremely friendly and helped me locate the name on the bags. (You almost need a magnifying glass to read them.) I am now to the bottling stage and the Cabernet is wonderful to my taste, as is the Merlot. I love a good dry red and both wines have a nice "bite" to them. I can only imagine what they will be like in 3 months, or 6 months (if I even have any left then). Do not hesitate to purchase this kit. I think you will not be disappointed.

I got hooked on this when I lived in Miami and I used to be able to find it in my city, but no more. So I bit the bullet and ordered some. It arrived promptly and was well wrapped to protect against breakage. Cuban pork roast is cooking now. Can you smell it?
I didn't find anything exceptional about this product. The taste was mediocre and I don't like plastic packaging, especially considering that this is an acidic product,
Not the best that I've used but certainly not the worst either. The results were 18% abv after 96 hrs.

This yeast works great for making beer at home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone starting out with home brewing.

Listen, it's a strong cheese that is not for the inexperienced cheese eater. Strong flavor, hoppy, and salty, however an excellent accompaniment to Trappist ales or other robust ales. This was the worst cheese I have ever purchased. It ended up costing over $26.00. The smell was awful. We couldn't stand the smell. We barely tasted it because of the smell. It came to us warm. It was a total waste because we threw it away. I contacted the company about the product, to this day I never received a reply. Save your money. I purchased it because the beer they make is very good. They need help with their cheese. I gave it 1 star because I couldn't give it zero.
I am very pleased with the Potassium Bicarbonate. I mix it with equal parts magnesium sulfate and baking soda to make my own mineral water with my soda stream carbonator. My kids love it too!
I bought the Simpkins Mulled Wine Flavor Fruit Drops to include in gift baskets at Christmas time. Great Flavor, not overbearing in the spice department and very soothing. Just like drinking a glass of mulled wine.
