Reserve Du Chateau 4 Week Wine Kit, Australian Cabernet Shiraz, 17.5-Pound BoxI really liked this kit. Quick and easy. The product was excellent for the money. I'll add to this later after it ages, but I am on an automatic quarterly but for this kit.

Winexpert produces several different series of wine kits. Their Eclipse and Selection International series are their more expensive kits, while the Vintner's Reserve series are more reasonable. Nevertheless, all their kits are excellent. Although their more expensive series make the best wines (as one would hope), the wines in their Vintner's Reserve series are still great. The kits in this series are priced in the $60 range. Since each kit makes approximately 30 750ML bottles, this works out to not much more than two dollars a bottle. That's a great bargain for a very good wine.

I made the Vintner's Reserve Shiraz some time ago. It's an excellent, full-bodied wine, with a spicy fruitiness that is pleasant to the taste. Although it begins to develop within three months of bottling, new overtones come out with further aging. I would suggest aging for as much as a year to allow the wine to develop fully.

Like all Winexpert kits, the Shiraz comes with easy-to-follow instructions. The process from initial mixing to bottling takes approximately six weeks. I find that the total time I spend producing wine from one of these kits is three to four hours. Making excellent wine doesn't need to be time-consuming.

Partners Wisecrackers Low Fat Crackers, Toasted Sesame, 4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Partners Wisecrackers Low Fat Crackers, Toasted Sesame, 4-Ounce BoxesI have been buying these from my local grocery store for a while now and was VERY happy to see the Wisecrackers available on Amazon at about 40% below the grocery store prices (and with free delivery)! Cannot beat that! Aside from the price, why do I buy Wisecrackers:

1) TEXTURE and CRUNCH: They are much tougher then regular crackers. They hold MUCH better when you need them for a dip, or a base for a topping. They allow you to "feel" the crunch and take a loooong time before getting soggy when covered with a topping.

2) TASTE: They taste almost like bread crust, with ONLY 110 calories and 2g of fat for ten good sized crackers (each is about two inches by two inches).

3) LIGHT SESAME FLAVOUR: I like the sesame variety the most, for their neutral aftertaste. They are versitile, and go with a variety of toppings (from ham, to salmon, to dips, etc.). They can be eaten alone as well, as a light in-between meal snack.

Enjoy!

I've ordered these crackers numerous times. They are really fresh each time they arrive. I will continue ordering this product.

Wine Country Kitchens Honey Ginger Teriyaki

Wine Country Kitchens Honey Ginger TeriyakiMy kids love anything with teriyaki sauce on it. Fish, chicken, pork or steak work well with this sauce, we swear by it for a quick, easy got to marinade or dipping sauce.
