Sweet Onions French Confit by L'Epicurien, France

I was at a friend's house recently and she was trying to impress me (that is another story) and she used this product with the meal she was serving, which included a wonderful beef dish. She also used it with a cheese spread she invented herself. This stuff is absolutely delicious...I was absolutely stunned. I know food and I know good food and this stuff is great. It also allowed my friend to get what she wanted. I plan to order this stuff myself.

This is really tasty! We searched for it at the local grocery store, zip, nada, zilch. Lots of internet recipes for how to make your own. Too much bother. It was required in a recipe we wanted to try, so we decided to have a jar shipped to us. It made the dish really great. Then I tried it on my next hamburger. Wow, love it. My wife said it made her tummy unhappy later, but her system generally has the same response to all onions. So if you're OK with onions, you'll love the sweet onion confit.

Olli Salumeria Salami Calbrese, 6 Ounce

Yeast Energizer - 1 lb.

I use this Yeast Energizer along with Yeast Nutrient in my Yeast Starter as well as during fermentation to keep the yeast happy and healthy. My first attempt at using this was a failure because I wasn't sure how and when to use it properly. After some reading and research on various Wine Advise sites, I've had the most amazing results when I use this product.

The Second attempt at using Yeast Energizer along with Yeast Nutrient, I was attempting to get a SG reading. I filled my wine thief and while withdrawing the tool, some of the liquid dropped back into the fermentation and it reacted like dropping water on a hot frying pan. My eyes got wide as I expected a volcano erruption but that didn't happen just yet. After getting my SG reading, and being that I didn't have a roper stirring tool to reach through the neck of the Carboy yet, I thought I'd try to stir the Carboy as with a swirl of the container...Well... this product worked so well that just a minor shake of the Carboy contents I got a furious volcanic eruption of CO2 spewing upwards and onto the floor. While I was amazed at the lesson learned, it was well worth it. I used this product now for every batch I make.

I used this for the mead i just bottled. it definitely did its job. the fermentation took off very quickly
